I decided today to start gathering materials for my TT70 wep and armor. Cause I know it'll take awhile. But then I started getting mixed reviews from people. Some saying TT armor was the way to go. And others saying to just stick to the normal armor. Now I'm not sure what to do. For a veno that's mainly just support, DD, which is better? TT armor. or normal?
in case the info is needed; No, I don't have herc. I stick to my magmite. And I more use my veno skills then my fox ones. :)

Don't get TT armor at 70.. not worth it. Only after 90 and maybe TT80 gold. It's better if you use molds till then. Like Sleeves of sea captain and Darks pants of hades. Also if you have rank 4, you can go to the npc in dreamweaver and get the rank chest for 50k which is pretty good.

Yeah, taking a look at the forges in TT - the TT70 arcane armour is just totally rubbish. I will honestly keep wearing my sundry 50-60 armour from mobs, instead.

The sleeves of sea captain, however, have a fantastic channelling bonus, and yes, those I surely want.

fireball from wurlord with hh 70 at lv 71 damange= 3334
i suggest to try to get an hh70 armor with hh runs. is good armor anyway and hhs are one of the most fun part of the game ihmo

You can do a lot better than TT70 armor with good 3* armor.

Except that you need 70 to make 80, to make gold 90..... (note that you do not need 80 to make green 90 for armors)

Gold 90 is much nicer than any mold armor you can get (for arcane), and you get the set special bonuses on top of it.

For most players, it will take longer to go from 90 to 99 than it took to go from 1 to 90. That means having a nice tt90 armor for a quite a few months is not a bad investment.

So at the moment it looks like...3* normal armor and mold armor are the way to go for now. But when I reach late 80's early 90's get mats for TT90 gold armor?

No, them you have to make TT70 in order to make TT80, in order to make TT90 gold.

Since you have to get TT70 anyway, might as well use it yourself and not spend money on a mold, in my opinion. Although, you can probably sell that mold later on and recoup almost all your investment on it, unless PWI makes that mold easier to get, than you are totaly SOL.

Not all of it's bad. I went for the boots and the pants, but I think I skipped the 70 boots. I got them mostly for the +m/s, and now am on the 90 that is +3m/s. I got the gold pants at 80 and will probably use them to 99 or more.

3.5k kills me just as dead as 7k does, so I'm not seeing the defence stat as in any way important to me. I want decent +magic and similar adds. And the tt70 stuff just doens't have anything worth shouting about.

I didn't look at tt80 though (and tt90 seems a bit pointless to look at, I doubt I'll get that far)

Wurlord's damage is not consistent. I've been hit for 2.5k-3k and i've been hit for over 5k-6k wearing the exact same armor.

At Irieth: if you can find normal (2*, 3*) with bonuses like pdef and/or HP then by all means use it. Also check out molders. TT70 just has random mana/res stats which you really do not need as a caster class. Farm TT, sell the mats and buy things you actually need.

As far as TT90 goes most people chose green armors because they have more HP mods than TT90 gold as far as arcane is concerned. An exception would be the T90 gold sleeves since they have pdef and -6% channeling which is all you can ask for as a veno.
