Height Control

Would it be possible to put in a feature to adjust the height of our characters? I mean, you can change even the breast size of girls (do we even NEED that to begin with?), but not the height.

I want to model a Wizard after Genis, but...he's not really that tall. b:chuckle

    I'm at a crossroads with this one, it would be a nice addition, however, it would make some other elements of the game look ridiculous. Such as a lot of the weapons are over-sized already, taking height off of your character now would make the weapons seem even larger. Or what if a minimum height male character is trying to carry a maximum height female? Now, these aren't major issues in the least, but in all honesty neither is adjusting our characters heights. I still believe it'd be a nice addition, however it has to be done properly, if only the character gets shorter, you're looking at tiny people with gorilla arms.

    It is an interesting idea.

    I would have thought that by height adjustment, it would be a given that I meant it would be a full character rescale. I was thinking along the lines of 4'6" to about 6', not making like 1' tall people run around. And, obviously, the weapons would resize to fit just as the armor resizes to fit each character. I hadn't thought of the carrying thing, mostly because I ignore all those requests anyway, but that could be an issue. A quite humorous issue, but an issue nonetheless.

    i would luv to be able change my height i would make my barb giant

    & i think the size of the height should be 4-8 feet tall(i would make my barb 8 feet tall) if they put this into the game everybody should get one of those change appearance scroll thing

    If the weapons did re-size it wouldn't be so bad, however I've played a ton, and i do mean a ton of MMOs, and every one of them with height control doesn't affect weapons, so you'll see people half the size of other players with weapons 2-3 times taller than themselves. I believe it'd be a rather complex code for a weapon to re-size itself according to the players height, and this code would have to be added to every weapon in the game. Armor isn't really a problem, as it just changes the "skin" of the character. Another thing is would the shorter players still be able to jump the same height as taller players? I'm all for adding in more customization, but this idea has a few issues that need to find solutions. I still think it's a great idea though.

    lol make my char 3 pixels tall. that would kill in TW they'd have no idea how they died lol

    Ya i think that changable height would be a excellent addition to the character creation. But it would be kinda weird to see your character floating in the air when riding on the mount or untamed flyers. But other than that, it would be a good addition. Its kinda odd see stick thin and tall characters O_e.b:shocked
