The official thread does not have a poll about wether we wanted it back or not.
People were expressing their opinions.

Now make the official thread a poll, and i'll go post there with all my pleasure :)

    Agreed. It's much easier to see the numbers in a poll. Even if they ignore the posts. That thread should have continued for the poll alone.

    they wont post a poll, because that thread is merely a formality. GM's hands are tied, they have no control whatsoever. they are simply PR geeks, they can do nothing but (attempt) to appease us

    It was closed to stop the spamming in several different threads and to keep it contained to one thread. Much easier for the GM's/admins to have it contained in one thread then have several different ones.
