this dodopod came to angler village and killed the afker and me while i was in pawn/cat shop b:sadb:sad

    What I'd like to know is how they got a Dodopod out of the FB39 dungeon, on the other side of the map, and into a Safe Zone. Also would like to know how it targeted you considering, as a cat shop, you weren't doing anything. Last I checked, you couldn't teleport monsters...

    if u manage to kill it.. it gives good exp for its lvl xD

    Its a miniboss near Anglers lol
    And it uses aoe attacks so it hits even catshops :)

    Theoretically its not a 'boss' like Chin but it aoes as well.
    Would be crazy if this allowed..

    safe from pk. not from mobs.

    Intentionally lured. The dodopods movement path doesn't really go anywhere near anglers village. It's an aoe mob, meaning it was dragged into anglers to kill off all afk/unaware/vending players.

    Not only that but it's also non-aggressive meaning it has to be attacked before it will follow someone.

    i bet it didn't even cross your minds that maybe, just maybe, someone attacked it, realized it was too strong, then ran to safe zone hoping to be safe from it there?

    It's not a particularly strong aoe. I can tank it long enough on a full mag lv35 veno to kill it. Yet somehow this person who "panicked" managed to run off the road, past all the mobs in the area, into anglers and remained there stationary long enough for the aoe to kill off all afk lowbies and player shops? Don't forget if dodo killed this player who panicked once they got to anglers, it would lose it's target and flee.

    Obvious intentional lure is obvious. Seriously the chances between it being intentional and a silly panic are like 99.95% and 0.05%

    it's a physical aoe, and does more damage than you seem to remember... i had trouble soloing this on my lvl 4x wizard without using pots. with pots it was a snap, but since OP was obviously afk in catshop, couldn't use pots therefore = dead

    i see nubs attacking, then running from this thing all the time. it's most certainly a possibility that it wasn't intentional. maybe a 30% chance that it was an accidental lure

    We have a guy that lures bosses in safe zone all the time. Chin (killed 4 that day I was there) Krixxix to Orchid (killed at least 15) and Yang ((the mine bear boss guy) to Archo 3 times killing a total of 24 people in those 3 times. Being I never can catch a screenshot of him..he still roams free luring.

    I know more than one person does it. Is it bannable, I dont know. Is it worth the risk. Aye men! Like i said, the responses from the noob ppl... priceless b:laugh

    How do you know all this but, not have a screenshot?

    PS. Krixxix doesnt actually kill any bystanders in Orchid temple. If you leave him alone, he will just reset and run back to the spawn point.

    Best thing to do is, SS, report, ban.

    Ive never seen Krixxix AOE I only know of a few bosses that AOE that are close to any town to even attempt such.

    Sometimes its really hard to tell if some person is doing it on purpose or not, if they do it only once. When a person is near dying, and will definitely lose to a boss, the first thing that comes to mind is run to town. Town = a "safe" place. Thats where I would normally run to in an normal circumstance.

    Like the time I had to kill torga. Thought he was just any random mob, sent nix in with half hp (level 60 nix). Nix died in 2-3 hits, didnt heal in time. He came after me, did 1.5k dmg, so I ran to the near "safe" place that I could think of, hoping that he would stop following me. Little did I know he AoEs, and the place that I went to was immolation camp, AoE did 1/2 of some random BM's hp. Luckily, I lured him away before anyone died and summoned my real tank. >_>

    If you have SS's of him bragging about "griefing". Thats probably good enough for a ticket. If you dont... you're out of luck.

    Did you submit a ticket about it?

    Him/her saying anything along the lines of "Lol, I killed some nubs by luring ____ to ____." Is pretty good evidence for a ban/warning/investigation imo.
