Life Powder cancling

Do you know that problem:

You're trying to grind your way to the higher lvls and use Life Powder to survive as economic as possible (especially when you're Barbarian or Blademaster, cause then you can't spare enough money.
Then such a stupid cleric comes and buffs with his/her useless HP Buff and doesn't even look, whether you already have a HP Buff on yourself (cause Life Powder looks like the normal HP Buff). And now? A waste of material.

I can only talk from my own experiences: I can't even count, how much these stupid clerics have already canceled my Life Powder - and they even think, they do a good job, when they spam around.

So, to all Clerics: If you do spam around your stupid buffs, at least watch what you do, whether someone already has a HP Buff!!! --'''

Remember to beg us to heal you in FBs, ya?
You should be happy that someone is so nice to give you buffs.

Oh and I hope for all clerics that they wont meet persons like you...

    Wow talk about ignorant.

A cleric can give buffs as a kind deed but it isn't so kind when someone already has buffs.

Though, life powder only lasts 10 minutes. shut up

Lol didnt say I was doing that.
I only buff friends or allies when I run into them or when someone politely asks me for buffs. And then it isnt too hard to see if theres any life powder/concentrate orbs, whatever.

But OPs join date, post count and word choice smells so clearly like troll its funny b:chuckle Ranting aganist clerics wont solve anthing :D

but i never buff if someone use hp/mp regen cuz sometimes i use mp regen.

i use life powder and focus powder too when im questing or grinding. sometimes, if i ask for buff i said "can u give me buff. but DONT buff me hp/mp regen"
good clerics will understand, but careless clerics will just give me complete buffs without even bother themselves to read chat. b:surrender

I really don't see where is the issue.Powder lasts 10 mins and it's only hp/mp while the cleric will give you hp/mp reg,pdef/magdef,magdmg(but i don't need that).I wish clerics would come and ruin my powders like that.Anyone still using hp reg powders?I mean i haven't used one since the genies appeared.

Answer is simple (since you think EVERY Cleric ingame reads the forum)

Post on your main with the following statement

"I <Insert name> wish not to be randomly buffed while out grinding.. thankyou"

Hey Im pretty sure all the Clerics will be more than happy to accomadate you b:pleased

Personally I never use life powders while grinding ( +10% hp regen sword ftw), so any random buffs I recieve are warmly welcomed and appreciated, and are always followed by a thankyou in local.. If a Cleric takes the time and effort to buff me, being polite after is a small price to play.

    * Never diss Clerics you never know when you are going to want one to save your life/charm b:victory

Focus powders were my best friend at lower levels, so I definitely see where you're coming from. Having that handy 50 mp a second made it so I never ran out... very useful for dungeons and grinding.

Recently, I've noticed a new influx of clerics around my level that don't understand to check under their squadmates' names for current buffs. As a rule, I never overwrite a current buff, be in hp/mp regen or defense, or magic attack. For all I know, the character I'm buffing got those buffs from a level 9x or is rocking regen powders... it's just rude to overwrite them, especailly giving how much time or money goes into making apothecary pots.

I wish other clerics did the same. I've wasted a lot of powders because of well-meaning clerics.

Sadly it is true. Some clerics just can't mind their own business. Just tell them to f*** off if they break your powder.

Anyway all buffs should be like a barbs or BMs. For party member only.

Yes, it sucks when this happens. At low levels Life Powder makes you invulnerable. It's much more powerful than all of the Cleric buffs combined.

Most Clerics who've done this to me have apologized when they realize they've done something wrong, so really it's no big deal. Just be polite and help them to become better players.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of holier-than-thou Clerics whose attitude is that you should be thankful for when they randomly de-buff you. Contrary to the argument that one day you're gong to need their help, they are definitely NOT the kind of people you want to have in your party at any time in the future, because they've already demonstrated that their ego is more important to them than helping their teammates.

I personally check to see if the buffee is using regen powders if they already have the hp/mp regen symbol next to their name i dont give those buffs..easy enuff... but then again i very rarely give out random buffs to people and absolutely hate it when im grinding my self an some random person pops up and says "buffs" like im supposed to stop what im doin an waste my mana on them for wat i ask...the mana i use to buff a random person could be used to kill a mob...if u want cleric buffs i say"make a cleric" an never be without em

why don't we just...make the powders some sort of equip-able item, like...make it a blessing to be placed in the bless box...and give it equipment regen and a timer. that way it'd stack with cleric buffs as well.

Have to agree OP is trolling, no need to have a frenzied rant at clerics for simply offering a kind gesture and a little help. Really, high level buff effects (50hp/sec regen buffs from powder) should not be able to be overwritten by lesser effect buffs.

I have this problem too. I'm helping with a lowbies boss/fb/bh and the squad is buffing and of course I throw out the usual aura buff. Next thing the 3x bm beside me is like "ooo I can buffz too :D" <uses lv2 aura>. And of course, they'll throw the buff out randomly during the fb/bh/whatever just to help us all that little bit more.

One last thing. No pro cleric ever buffs over life powder. Even on my nub cleric, I have never buffed a player with buffs already in place. And I give random buffs all the time. Takes only a second to look and check. Another one of those little things that defines between a good and an awesome cleric.

as seph said, any cleric that overwrites your apoth buffs = fail cleric

personally, i don't buff outside of squad unless directly asked for buffs, and even then i ignore the request unless they phrase it as a question and say please (they naturally will QQ, but oh well... only nice people get cookies)

Life powder turns you into a tank.
    It's +50 HP REG RATE~

Well it is half way true.

Within a battle it only regenrates 25 HP/s. But while Sitting and not while fighting it regenerates 100 HP/s.

And 100 HP/s is a lot. Especially for Barbarians, who grind in the early game very weak it is way better than a def buff.

With +50% Def I still get half the dmg and can't regenerate it. With the HP Buff of Life Powder you regenerate some part of the dmg while fighting and the most important part you can regenerate while sitting. Most of my HP Potions I find while grinding, I have already sold, cause I only need additional HP Potions when I have to tank lots of monsters (normally more than 2 at once).

    So on the contrary:

How would you feel, if 3. 4 or even 5 times per day you would be debuffed cause of some cleric who spams their HP Buff?

3 debuffs per day means, you lose ~30 mins of your grinding time.

And no, in the most situations you can't even react on that cleric. In the most situations they fly around and buff you out of the air.
And that can be dangerous, too, cause you only see it by time, that your HP shrinks from one moment to another drastically.
And you see it maybe after a battle, cause you then only regenerate 10-15 HP/s while sitting, cause of your own HP Regeneration and the regeneration of that cleric buff.

While you're writing "NOT THAT HP BUFF!!!!" you can already been debuffed.

And that just sucks. Don't know how it is on the higher lvls. Doesn't care me. I have to lvl where I am and atm it sucks like hell.

wrong, it only heals 12.5hp/second while in battle. that's still 2.5hp/s more than the level 10 hp/mp regen skill tho

I think she was sarcastically referring to charms, yes. If not, then something awfully close to charms. And as someone else said, they won't fix the free item if they can make more from a CS item...aka charms.

gosh at least you should be grateful the cleric buffed you and not attempt PK. there is no way to tell the diff between life powder and regular cleric buff, he/she might have thought someone else buffed you and rebuffed. then when a passingby cleric doesnt rez you, you QQ and start bitching for him/her not rezzing, and if he happened to have a low rezz then you ***** a little more. appreciate kindness, cause it lacks. same as if someone made you a gift you dont tell them to get something better, you appreciate the gesture.

Well, the system says on its own:

    HP Regeneration:

while battle only 50% of the normal regeneration

    normal 100% regeneration

    while sitting 200% regeneration

And when I look to my barb while fighting:

    ~10-20 HP (without Lifepowder)
    ~30-40 HP (with Life Powder)

    while Sitting:

    ~30 HP (without Life Powder)
    ~130 HP (with Life Powder)

So I don't understand, what you mean
