Does anyone know what the base chance for an interrupt is on this genie skill?

    Nope. Don't know if higher ranks increase the base chance either. What I can tell you is that at level 1 I've run 87 interrupts, 89 fail to interrupts, and 92? (doing this from memory) not attempted due to no energy on Wurlord runs in 2-2. That's on a genie with level 1 and 40 dex. I'm not sure if it's 40% and I've been lucky, or 50% and I've done about what would be expected.

    Also, so far I haven't once interrupted anything that's metal (LoP being the only metal thing I've tried it on). I'm assuming the interrupt doesn't work although the damage lands because of the metal property as I know he can be interrupted.

    I believe the base is 0%. The amount of dex your genie has is the amount of chance % to interrupt. So 100 dex = 100%... At Least that's what i see from it when it is used by me.

    That's possible but the exact text says "Strikes the target with a bolt of lightning doing x melee damage and interrupts the targets casting". Then it says each point of dex increases the interrupt chance by 1%. To me atleast, that implies there's some base value that would go up with increased amounts. It doesn't mean that's the case, but it sounds to me like it should be.

    I wish they would just give us the chance on it or change the wording, it's the most ambiguous of all the genie skills.

    At least they did not put "It does stuff" as a description.... I would also like clarification on blinding sand, since the new description talks about decrease in attack rate, not accuracy....

    Testing on players trying to town portal out of instances (:P) its seems to interrupt all the time... from my experience im still inclined to believe that it always still works. I know the description says that increased dex increases the chance, but it doesn't say what the starting chance actually is...

    What level of LC and how much dex do you have on your genie? It could be a situation like with ToP where the lower ranks were nerfed hard but the higher ones are equal/better than they were so I could see a full interrupt still being possible, it's not with level 1 though.

    Level 80 Genie

    50 str

    50 Dex

    50 Vit

    Level 1 Lightning Chaser

    Approx 50-60% successful Interrupt on TT69 end bosses and Wurlord in TT.

    Prior to last genie nerf was 100%..

    That points to 0-10% base too. Has anyone tested a higher rank of it?
