Rare Zeal Genie (86/90)

A long, long time ago in a server (not so) far, far away, I traded my lvl 79 Zeal genie with 42/70 lucky points for a lvl 40 Zeal genie with 37/40 lucky points. The climb from lvl 40 to lvl 90 was a hard and spirit-sucking one (not to mention over 1 mil EXP accidentally lost) and I am currently left with only 100k spirit at lvl 91. But it paid off.

37/40 --> 47/50 --> 57/60 --> 66/70 --> 76/80 --> 86/90

Accidentally put a point into mag instead of vit, but I've got 63 Origination Orders left over so I'll do that later when it hits lvl 91 b:cute

On a side note, having 7 genie skills is worse than I thought. Can never decide which ones to use in PvP. Extreme Poison + Tangle Mire + Air Strand + Wind Shield? Extreme Poison + Tangle Mire + Tree of Protection? Blood Clot + Tree of Protection? Air Strand + Wind Shield + Tree of Protection? Tree of Protection + Fortify + Feral Concentration (lvl 79 veno skill)? So many combinations, so many situations b:surrender
(on a side note, no, I refuse to learn Holy Path, the ultimate kiting genie skill)

    That's nice, it took me a lot of genies to get an evolved one. I lvled many for 30-40 lvls but only 3 to lvl 80. I managed to succeed on my 3rd try with the lvl 80 ones, and got 60/80. It's pretty good considering that it will be fully evolved when I hit 90. I do like that Holy Path skil though ( but only for crossing Cube faster ), so I might get it. xD

    Grats on that genie!!

    I always got a doubt about this......

    Did u level up that genie only with your exp or use a mixed with exp, exp cubes and spirit?
    I heard about ppl that used mixed and they got a nice lucky points for his genie........

    Mine won 10 Lucky points last time has level up b:victory

    I think there's a lower chance of getting a higher number...I don't believe you have a 1/10th chance of getting 10 lucky points.

    Your wind shield will be useless with such low dex.

    kinda sucks since you gotta wait 1 week or so to get it TRADE READY to decomp now =( my bank is packed full i can only try for a lucky genie 3 a week lol

    Yup, it was nurfed from the old 30% and I had forgotten ; /
    Currently in search of a good 8th genie skill. I only have one stone of refreshment so got to choose wisely b:surrender

    you should really put at least like 40 more points into magic, dex and/or str since they only need 1 point to level as vit needs 2...

    Extreme Poison + Tangle Mire + Tree of Protection. Only doable with 50 + 48 + 115 = 213 energy. Technically 211 energy since there is a 1 second delay between genie skill casting. I currently have 212 energy or, taking the 1 second delay into account, 214 energy available to cast all three skills consecutively. But I don't always use those three genie skills - I may use a different combo that uses less energy. Having excess energy means I can use another skill faster if the fight drags on. Against venonixers, that might be Blood Clot + Extreme Poison + Tangle Mire + Extreme Poison. 80 + 50 + 48 + 50 = 228. 228 - 212 = 16. 16 / 1.3 = 12. Meaning I would need 12 seconds for the last ditch Extreme Poison, something that may happen before the second Flesh Ream.

    Adding in Dex or Str is useless unless I am aiming to improve a specific skill or orienting my entire genie toward a single skill. For all the genie skills I am using, casting it twice would be better than once but stronger.

    As for choosing Vit over Mag, 2 point into mag means a +0.04/sec energy recovery rate. In 200 seconds, that would be the equivalent of +4 energy. In 50 seconds, that would be the equivalent to +1 energy. Using those 2 points in Vit would mean +1 energy readily available. Since my PK fights usually last under 50 seconds, that 1 energy already readily available is much more useful.

    On a side note, I made my last genie skill Holy Path for HH runs (Bramble Rage sucked even with a pure Dex genie). With my 212 energy, I can cast Holy Path twice in a row, then a third time 11 seconds later. Very helpful in running through HH ^_^
