general summer's sword atk lvl 1

i read in another post that attack level 1 gives 1% extra damage. can somone please confirm this. is that all it does? if so it seems to me that general summer's sword is not worth the cost. I can buy a sword that is approximately as good without the atk lvl 1 much cheaper. when i get to lvl 60 i will buy an ancient arbor which i believe will be better than general summer's sword. am i right about this or is there an advantage to atk lvl 1 that i dont know about.

    If you click the attack lvl option it will confirm that yes +1 adds 1% damg. Altho the lvl 50 supply weapon isn't worth it BUT you can open ur supply stash again now every 5 lvls (till 80) the items you get from those (like 40-ish chips) make up for the cost at lvl 50.
