    ok im gonna make this easy for you xD http://pwi.perfectworld.com/info there is the the story line right there. And if you dont like to read it they have a video of the "God" of our world explaining what happned. As you go up in lvs you find out why there was a great flood blah blah blah blah. Elfs are half god, humans are smart in tech, beast reached enlightment and developed human qualities but could become one with nature (beast form) I like to read so Ya I usually pay attention. Plus its funny seeing how lost ppl get when they dont actually read what the quest tells you to do. Be warned you cant track everything sometimes the text gives you clues on where to find the person or item.b:laugh Anyway there ya go.
