Rebirth Bug

most people who do rebirth are aware of the kick to 1k bug. this occurs when somebody takes enough damage to "die twice". the standard way to circumvent this bug is for the entire party to leave the instance, trash aura quests, and reenter before harpy wraith dies.

ever since the new patch, this is no longer possible. upon leaving the instance, whether through a brutal death or the leave instance pillar, all members of the squad except for the squad leader fail the quest, thus preventing the squad from continuing the rebirth.

this is very very frustrating. the initial 1k bug was never fixed, but at least there was a way to deal with it. now, there is none. please either fix the kick to 1k bug, undo the immediate quest fail, or redo the horrible rebirth quest system.

if redoing the quest system, may i suggest splitting up the 10 stage subquests into 10 sequential main quests. this means that you will only receive the quest for stage 2 after completing stage 1, etc. also, as a backup, allow the god's servant npc to give the quest for the current stage if it is trashed or lost. this is similar to the quest structure of a lot of the non-instance chained quest, where each chain is a self-contained quest that can be trashed and re-taken at will. in other words, it is not hard to implement.

I'm moving this to suggestions(although it's more of a gameplay issue), and I'll let our QA folks know to look into it b:victory

This happened tonight 2x back to back. This is indeed a frustrating issue due to our burning of charms for very little exp, and this effects multiple people in the party except the party leader.

This must be fixed, being kicked to 1k isn't a pleasant experience but loosing an hour or two hours is not acceptable because we cannot re-enter the instance.

In regards to the quest failures due to party leader disconnecting, WilliamBlake is correct, just breaking up the quests as a back up for failure would be sufficient and most likely an easy fix. Why punish the entire squad if the party leader disconnects? Internet connections fail or power outages happen, events completely out of our hands.

Emerging from this darkness takes more then courage, it takes faith in ones own mind and more importantly in ones own heart. To deny the light is to deny yourself the feeling of true happiness and true peace within your own soul. Denying your own happiness and your own soul is denying all that one has to live for."
