Elena was directing that at Neelkant. Since Neelkant is most likely not a PvPer then I think there is nothing wrong with what she said. The chain of posts were pretty much a conversation between Neelkant and Elenacostel.

Mind you, Archers are one of the cheapeast classes to play (not excel at, but to play). But as soon as you want to excel at it (which is PvP basically), you're in for a hell of a ride.

Really, it's kinda amusing, it seems like there's a whole subtype of people who consider everything in light of high-end PvP and nothing else. These would also be the same people who whine about factions that PvE on PvP servers being dominant.

Thank you for rephrasing everything I said. And also, every class is cheap, just depends how you play em. Dont expect to have a cheap life as a mage or cleric when you wanna grind productively and find urself burning through an MP charm. Same with archers, dont expect to grind quick and have a cheap life without using skills at lower levels and even at higher levels to kill those pesky mobs or stop em from getting close to you, and dont say crit should kill em if u regular shot, atm i have crappy gear, just 80 molds and hh green and a 88 windcatcher bow +1 and its a pain to grind at 90. Only way to grind succesfully is by using my demon quickshot (cost me 25 mil in game coin) and or refining ur gear (cost money) or using lots of pots (cost money) to use skills. Get the pattern?

Want a cheap life in this perfect world? Learn how to be effing patient and sit down if ur a mage or a cleric and recharge ur MP instead of using charms and instead of using pots for HP, clerics use ur damn heals and wizards level ur god damn heal. U have one, level it and stop listening to what others say. Is not useless. Barbs and bms, dont get hp charms.... U got vit (hopefully) and u even have decent healing skills. If u cant use those skills, sit down and recharge ur HP as well. Dont even need mp. Occasionaly use a skill or 2, most of ur cheap life comes from regular hits. Same with archers. U dont have a heal, so u might need to rely on those pots u get from drops. For Mp, same as barbs and bms. And OMG, effing venoes. U DONT ******* NEED EITHER OR. LEVEL UR DAMN HEALS AND UR MP GIVING SKILLS. Learn how to use ur swap hp/mp effectively along with those heals/mp regen skills and trust me, if u get it right, u will find urself having too many damn pots. And yes, I have ONE of each class, most which are 90+ (been playing PW for 2 years in diff clients). If u need advice, id be a nice person to ask and ill be glad to help. With anything. ^_^

What's amusing is that PVP is an aspect of the game and people like YOU are too ignorant to let others enjoy the game how they want to enjoy it. If they wanna act "Immature" or trash talk, then let em. Is their toon, their playing time, and they are doing what they enjoy, qqing. TBH, that's what makes a pvp server, a pvp server. Also, im sure when the creator of the thread made it, he was thinking more along the lines of pvping, cause to be honest, no class is bad at grinding. All classes excel at a different way of grinding, let it be aoeing (Bm's/Barbs/Clerics), or solo mashing thorough em at high speed (archer,veno cause of pet and ability to kill twice as fast, and mages). So with that said, this thread is more directed towards pvp. the comment i mentioned ealier about Elena was because again, she might have directed that comment to another person on another topic, but ultimatly, that person was replying to the thread which again, it could be implied that it is more about pvp related issues rather than pve. Reason why i talked about grinding too was cause if we talk about archers being fail and we think fail in PVE, well i just explained why ANY class cant be fail in pve cause of those reasons. Clearly not talking bout cost.

And about the factions being dominant, that's a pvp server for you although a lot of the times is not cause of how fast the grind or get to higher levels, its also about connections and reputation. In HL right now, Kingdom has been the almighty since the beginning with Kylin reasonably behind. Truth is, Kingdom is all hype (Reason i say this is because during these last 2 weeks it has been proven in TW that Kylin not only defends better and faster than kingdom but at the same time defets same guild on same situation (Destiny) 3-4 times as fast, and thats only the beginning; it is also known Kingdom can only have on during tw times about 70-90 people while kylin puts anywhere between 90-110, and Kingdom is "supposed" to be the almighty one; my facts are solid, like i said, i know everything that happens in both guilds . They have always had the most high levels, I know their roster and I know kylins 24/7. Only reason why they are at the top, everyon likes em. Only guild to not have rpked at sum point or only guild to hold back on many kos and set lots of carebears rules. Therefore, that gets the "nubs" to like em and those "nubs" who reach higher level by pveing join KD instead of kylin because of the negative rep kylin had. Also, another escenario, same guilds. Once there was a guild named QQme. It was the only full rpk faction on server and it had the MOST higher levels than any other guild. As a matter of fact, 8/10 top 90's where in that guild. That goes to show that not always the dominant factions contains the hardcore pvers.

Relax there. My intentions are pure and I do not intend to insult nor subtract any credibility from you. It's just that sometimes people post off topic things on the thread and some people take the time to answer or reply to those off topic posts.

Neelkant did actually talk about PvE as he was talking about solo (people don't use "solo" in PvP rather "1v1", not only that he actually said "mobs" in a post there after). I was just trying to clear things up as your response did come off as having some confusion and was a little harsh towards Elena.

And I'm sure many aspiring "pro archers" already have found out one way or another that we are very expensive to excel at (PvP). (mentioned many times... who comes to mind is TigerLily)

On that note, @Olba: there really isn't much to keep a player at later levels so it does make sense to go PvPing which is why most "EG" discussions are PvP orientated.

we don't usually get hit in pve (unless ganking yerself with multiple mobs^^)
repair bill is never more then 5k a day for me
pots/bolts is the main thing to lower if u can (ppl say we get enough ammo from mobs but thats total BS)
i dunno i like being an archer cus i can roll parties and i can save em too ^^

anyone who says an archer is weak in pvp/pve/TW is a muppet and i bet they couldn't tank a lvl 70 archer without dirtnappin' ^^

I don't think its right to say Archers fail.

Theres always a lack of something for every class.

For Archers, mainly the HP.
So...

If you squad with cleric, U get heal.
Only pay for repairs. Cleric needs pots.

Squad with veno, U got a tank.
Only pay for repairs. Pass the Veno the pet food if there were any drops.

With another Archer, Target dies faster and u won't get hit.
Onply pay for repairs.

Barb or Bm, U got tank.
Only pay for repairs. Pots for barb or Bm.<--- Barbs will be very happy if u can help them with ranged mobs.

Wizard, Like having another Archer but with magic attack.
Only pay for repairs. Pots for wiz.

See.... Archers are not that bad after all. Just make alot a friends.

Being an archer takes a lot of patience and its an acquired taste. Just because others enjoy brute strength or pure magic doesnt make this class any less important or enjoyable. b:victory

The thing that I found, when you make a pure archer and really put alot of damage into it; You need a barb to keep aggro from you for most things. You're not exactly built for getting hit. Yeah you could put a bunch of citrines in your armor but you're still squishy. Barbs have rediculous hp and defence for a reason.

Archers main purpose = Kill everything and don't get hit

in ur lv yes, later killable too but they(mages) hurt more too on u than at 7x-8x, a bit harder that 1hit wizz :P

(a bit hard != failed only i noticed the archer biggest succes is around 7x-8x when alot mage class die with 1 hit :P)
