help with sorting out bugs

I started 2 days ago and downloaded, and updated PWI. after it was installed it tried to play it (In order of steps) the screen went black,the fancy arrow head came up,then the log in and create a character screen b:pleased Then the screen goes blank and disappears. a screen pops ups and says bugs error report but I dont know my role name in all my noobishness b:surrender should i delete and and reinstall PWI, or can someone tell me how to find out my role name. some one please helpb:sad

    I would try uninstall and reinstall just in case files were missed on initial download/install

    Verifying your client is up-to-date would do the same thing as a uninstall/re-download/reinstall, only less messy.

    The Verify button is the third button down, in the same column as the Start button on the client window. Click that, then sit back and wait. Depending on your connection speed and amount of files with errors/missing/what-have-you, verifying could take a while.
