Window Size

I've been playing since Xmas and was curious about something. My monitor is 1280x720. I have this as the setting on my desktop and in PW. My wife's PC is next to me, her setting is 1440x900.
On my screen, everything is normal but the map. It chops off the top part so places like Misfortune are hard to see, and Avalanche Canyon is not even visible on the map. On the wife's all is fine.
This is not a major problem, I can just zoom into the map and go where I need to. I was just wondering what everyone else who has 1280x720 does? I've tried with the 16:9 and without, same results.

There isn't much you can do for this. Its a known issue with widescreen resolutions. Personally I run the game in a window to avoid this issue and because I can still run at a decent res even windowed (2048x1536) but I don't usually recommend it unless you have a screen large enough to support that.0

The map is a known issue, and isn't going to be changed as it is hard coded into the game back before widescreen monitors became popular.
Many people play in Windowed mode, and then if you have to see a upper or lower part of the map, just resize the game window into a 4:3 ratio while you need to.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Like I said, it's not important, I was just wondering if everyone with that screen size gets the map cut off. I'll be getting a new system at tax time, so no problem.
But I am wondering if the people with cut off map screens will be affected when the new race update is released.0 -
Short answer, yes, it will still be cut off on widescreen resolutions. Thanks for pointing that possibility out with the new race area. I have passed it along!Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
