    Your problem is that....YOUR A BARBARIAN. lols! (I.E: Melee class) so you've probably never experienced the damage reduction until now. (>.<)
    First time I experienced it myself ended up with me dying. D: those little diploid centipeds or whatever got me. xD I was like wtf did my weapon break? O.o' was it a magic resistant mob??? and then oooo my left foot was in the water. -.-'
