What Lady Seraphe said is correct.

Here are two guides you should (must) read.

    to the arrows:
i use Triple Bladed Iron Bolts (lvl 7-16 xbows) and looked the Black Smith price: 25k=600k!!!! and u can shoot 25k bolts very fast. But i dontspend much coins on bolts caus:
    1. Mobs often drop them at my lvl
    2. I get bolts from my guildies
    3. i buy them very cheap in AH

Zhen partys dont cost me so much arrows (I do them on nightscream), caus the mobs drop the triple bladed bolts. i just have to ask the party and i always get the bolts
    Equipment
    ☆Armor of the Assassin
    ☆Decaying Snow Shinguards
    ☆General's Bracers
    ☆Skywalker Shoes
    ☆Broad Land
    ☆Attendance Ring

(to Elenacostal 9-23-09 post) I need help. I am a low-level so i have spirit to use on new skills if need be. My current combo is: Venomous-> Knockback-> Winged Shell-> Lightning Strike-> normal until dead. This combo drains a LOT of MP and I need an equally powerful alternative. I am a Pure Build Archer and with this combo, I still get hit once or twice. Should I instead level Frost Arrow and Knockback like the combo you suggested? By the way, i have a tough time gaining enough chi to use Frost and Winged Shell at will or at least quickly. Is there a better way to gain chi? Thanks!

Use instant Take Aim for quick chi. Hold down the shortcut button for take aim and it goes off about as fast as your normal shot. It only costs a few mana (depending on what level your take aim is) and gives 15 chi. Using this, I'm always at max chi even casting wings of protection as much as possible and frost arrow for each mob.

I am assuming you meant "Winged Shell".

The best way to make money in this game is to locate and exploit undersaturated markets. Invest your coins in various items and use computer models to analyise risk and return of investment choices. Take advantage of probability prize boxes and event boxes by devising formulas to assess value and make accumulating profit (if possible). Spread out your investments and dont build up a surplus. Learn which markets are indicators of inflation and make sure your computer models also take surplus and inflation into account.

And also dont lvl up knockback.

That's some pretty high level stochastics you're talking about there. I wonder how many people here even understand what you say or how many have the required programming skills and mathematical understanding to actually pull that off? And if they did, don't you think they get paid enough to invest in gold and get massive amounts of coin out of it?

And by the way, none of the boxes, other than anniversary and Jolly Jones, have profit in them. And even those aren't intended to have profit, it just happened.
If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

Everyone wants to be different, but when you're different you wish you were normal.

JJ and Anniversary packs both have the potential for exponential coin growth, but also don't forget the much more basic 1 in 10 odds to win 1,000,000 coins and the like.

I almost feel guilty selling those for more than 100k.

It was my intent to not pay money for this game yet still be very well equipped. The in-game economy has made it much much harder, but it is still possible with lots of financial planning.

But if you can apply real life business tactics to this game the coin that could be gained during grinding becomes negligible.

It is also important, even when you have lots of coins, to maintain a mindset of buying low and saving money. So the lessons you learn, like using low level arrows and not spamming pots, are important. It gets you in the mindset of making money.

Everytime i've bought an anny pack, it was 15 perfect tokens of luck, which sell for 20-25k on my server, i sell em for 19k ea sometimes just to get rid of them. I've only opened, i'd say 4 or 5 of them, but yeh thats all i've got from them. Gold on my server sells for about 450k-525k each. So i'd be better off just selling the gold.

What 1 in 10 odds? For what 1,000,000 coin?

Guilty selling what for more than 100k?

The Golden Boxes from the Ecstasy or Sadness rooms in the Cube of Fate. According to pwdatabase, 10% chance of 1m, 90% chance of 1 coin. So technically they're worth a fraction of a coin over 100k :P

The thing with the tokens is, you can turn them into all sorts of cool stuff. And they'll still be around in a few weeks when the anniversary packs go away and prices start to rise again.

Even with the event still ongoing, I've been able to buy tokens, convert to Oracles, and sell at a profit. At the very beginning I was managing to get something like 80-90% returns on investment, but now I'm only managing 10-20% at best. Plus it's getting to where it takes several days to sell the oracles instead of the 1-2 days early in the month.

Over the course of the event, I've turned roughly 8m of initial funds into over 25m, all without buying or opening a single pack. Now to go on one last token-buying spree before I sit tight and wait for prices to rise...
