Nah, its just that they normally put those up during maintenance. *predicts* It'll be up sometime tonight.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

What you can do is grab the card, sell the gold at the outrageous prices that it's selling for right now, and then wait for gold prices to go down to buy the fashion.
Telling you right now, though. Good luck with the prices dropping much. Oh, and you are probably better off buying the fashion with coins, because then you get to pick the color you want it in. ^^ Just a hint for further reference.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Oh, I wasn't suggesting that you raise the prices any more, I was just saying that maybe you should sell it below the minimum. It will give you almost a guaranteed sell, and quite a bit of in-game coins to spend on those ever-elusive "rich person" skills, and even to spend on fashion.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

dont you get a slight tax on selling gold tho, just like when you sell items through AH, say you sell a armour top for 400k and its brought at that, the seller usually gets about 389k due to tax0 -

You pay the tax when you put the gold INTO the AH, I don't believe there is added tax beyond that. b:shocked Is there? b:shocked[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

if you sell an item through AH you'l notice you get slightlly less than what is sold for
400k sale might give u 396k
1.5mill sale might give u 1.46mill etc0 -

cheers for info0 -
All we ask for is for a short break from sales and every week they fail to listen to us and shove something else down our throats via cash-shop.
I just want a month without sales so that gold might go down a little.
And I know I'm not alone on this, but it seems that they refuse to listen to what the community has to say as it wont make them any money. The only way to win is to quit. b:bye0 -

i know what your thinking and hopeing, but its about time you came to accept the fact gold is never going to depreciate in value for a very very long time, you will never see it go under 350k ea again imo.
im quite welcoming the new addition of fashion, a month without sales would make the game very boring and nothing to look forwards to, and then people would get bored and leave. pwi as a company wont risk that.
we just have to play on im sorry0 -
Maybe Zen sales more often? Sometimes people's paychecks don't really correspond with PWI's little Zen sales, so a lot of revenue is lost due to mistimed sales.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

if they were smart they have one this weekend to cash in on the anniversary boxes before they dissapear.
the reason im really hoping for one is coz i have my frost (15% more zen) coupon and want to stack it to get as much as i can for my money ^^0 -

If PWE would take a minute to see how the community feels about gold prices then they would attempt to lower them but seeing as how they do then I feel that they will lose quite a large portion of thier fanbase soon.
And don't talk about how no one is really leaving, Half my friends list hasn't logged on in over 3 weeks.
If gold never goes under 350k again then as soon as I can afford it I'm going to a certain P2P game. The only way to win is to quit. b:bye0 -
dont forget, this all came about because of player greed, people like you and me trying to scam the hell out of other people and it never stopped.
gm's are the damage control to limit what we can do but they dont seem to be doing so or they are not worried about it for reasons.
there is absolutly nothing we can do appart from sit and hope0 -

Back a long long time ago I was friends with a CS user. We were both level 30s and this was way back when, last October I think at the latest. Anyways he had his own faction, at the moment it was a level 2, he wanted to upgrade it to a level 3 faction. To do so, he needed 10mil in coins. In order to get that 10mil he did what all cash shoppers do when they need coin, he sold gold.
Not even including the gold fee he sold enough gold to get 10mil in coins back when gold was 100kea.
So do the math and see how much that turns out to in RL money spent.
NOW imagine him doing the same thing only with todays gold prices.
Your lucky to get 400kea gold so on an average day he could of easily gotten 400kea for his gold.
So now he is only spending a quarter of what he spent in november.
So therefore he saves $75, and PWE loses $75 because of the high gold prices. The only way to win is to quit. b:bye0 -

good points i wont deny that.
But the fact that nothing is being done means that pwi isnt worried or indeed dosent care lol, if they arnt worried then they must have something planned0 -
I hope they do.The only way to win is to quit. b:bye0

Yeah Im the same opinion.
Also, keep in mind, more people bought gold with coins before. But where did that gold come from?
Yes, from the zhenners.
But now less people actually non-cash-shop gold so theres less wish for the zhenners to buy gold and sell it, even though theres high prices. Maximum profit doesnt lie where the highest price is, no its where most people buy and thats certainly not what we have right now.
Plus that gold prices get unhappy costumers-> less zhen consumed.
So if you think it through logically: those gold pirces cant be what PW wants.
And that pirate set totally rocks[SIGPIC][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
