Decompose? Where

I can Not find where to decompose items.

I have looked at the blacksmith, gem trader, tailor, jewel guy, merchant, elder......who did I forget in this list = anyway I have checked them all and can't figure this out b:sad

Is there a secret password? b:chuckle

Thanks for any and all info on this as it is driving me batty!

    You decompose gear at the person who makes the gear... you're not seeing an option in the conversation choices at the blacksmith/tailor?

    Ohhh - I finally figured out that this is a CRAFT skill!

    I was not finding this option because I did Not have the craft skill on the character I was trying to decompose with!

    When I switched to a different character WITH the craft skill - there it was = oops!

    Yeah, and you have to have a high enough craft skill to decompose what you are decomposing. :)
