    There are rumors of a legendary turtle. And since they're adding the Tideborn area, which has water... They might be more than rumors... Either way, I say, take the turtle, and GTFO. Water is the one place we don't have an OP pet. And if they start adding water dungeons... We might start seeing a lot more people roll barbs. *crosses fingers*

    I already have a Plumpfish with Herc skills (except pounce) =P

    If I were the devs, I'd use a drake model, call it a mudpuppy and make it usable on land with a stat penalty.

    You can pretty much guarantee that given enough time, they'll not only add a legendary water pet, but stronger versions of existing legendary pets. I'm sure it's not just coincidence that they made a herc/nix with a good bit of room to grow still in stats (nix might be capped on attack, is capped on magic def, herc is only capped on hp when it comes to increases per level) without having to recode their system and add more tiers to the increases per level.

    That's interesting...a powerful water pet for venos. Just like you have the nix for air and herc for land and a water pet for water. hehe.

    I am looking forward to the tideborn expansion. I've seen the pictures of the place and it looks pretty cool. b:victory

    there was a thread about this a while back, complete with picture of the legendary pets..... one problem

    the herc was white-skinned like the cube npcs
    and the turtle pic was of a world boss

    so yea... somehow doubt the validity of this

    I'm sure they've already planned for a water-based herc/nix for the expansion. Perhaps not right away, but eventually, and likely sooner rather than later. It's too much a cash cow to pass up on.

    I'd laugh my **** off if they ended up with a Starfish for legendary Water Pet. :P

    What about an anemone? Water Snail? Anthropomorphic Seaweed Creature?

    1. be as ugly as the herc, prolly a giant snail or so...
