Frequent DCs, Errors, Crashes, and Graphic Problems

So, recently PWI has been disconnecting and crashing on me with a large window telling me that there has been an error and asking me if I'd like to submit a report. Sometimes my computer crashes altogether, then restarts. It usually occurs between switches from desktop to game and vice versa but also at random times while playing. Other times, it will just cause my graphics to scramble and turn black in some places during these switches, which I then have to restart the game to fix.

Anyone have any idea what's going on? =/

    I've been seeing the same thing myself. As has my girlfriend and some of my faction-mates. The one thing that we have noticed is that we all have an Nvidia graphics chipset.

    Full screen or windowed mode do not seem to matter.
    Version of windows does not matter either. We have folks with XP, Vista, and windows 7 RC1.

    Driver version number does not seem to matter either. My guess would be that a dev has messed up or otherwise altered a driver hook.

    i'm only experiencing the minimize/restore part, i'll alt-tab to desktop, then when i bring it back up, it'll CTD randomly... and this is only since about 3 patches ago

    same, and so far all attempts to get tech support to acknowledge this have fallen on deaf ears.

    Huh I get this too although I fixed the Frequent DC as that was a problem with my router.

    But I also use Nvidia and when I alt tab most of the time alt tabbing from firefox (like once from x-fire) it randomly crashes on me and I get the report bug thing... Also some of you may have seen my graphic screenshots which also happens when I alt-tab out and back into the game but the graphical problems occur even if I'm not on firefox. I would like them to fix the crashes and the graphical problem except let me keep the shiny white robes and let others see it. b:laugh

    Hi, I'm experiencing the same problem. everytime I tried to press start after choosing my character, it restarted. I have no clue what's going on. My computer is more than 5 years old BUT I have the min. requirements for the game.
