how do i become a mod and a GM, are GM's people who made the game?

    To the OP:

    Developers make the game (Perfect World Co.)


    GMs are Game Managers(?) <- something like that, they are like customer service people; have a problem with PW? Take it up with them.

    Mods are Forum Moderators and I know nothing about them here. Most forums' moderators are just well-tempered people who volunteer for the spot (credentials probably help too).

    to be a forum MOD, you can't do anything. the GMs will offer the position to you (or that's what they say)

    They arnt looking for any more mods atm (err, that was the situation a few weeks ago, should still be the same).

    And you don't necessarily try to become a mod. They pick those who they see to be fit and those people are given an opportunity to become a mod if they choose to. At least that's what I think I read once.

    If you want to become a GM then you need to apply for the job (I'm sure someone has provided a link) and live close enough to the office to get there when it opens.

    No, GMs are no the ones who made the game.

    You would have to live in the area where PWI is headquartered.To become a moderator you must know the game well and the community.You must know the board very well.

    I believe to be a mod you half to have experience with dealing with forums and the community which a lot of ppl lack in this game
    besides that I think you half to ask a Gm or something and volunteer to be a mod
    but like I said you half to have experience and half to be good with dealing with a community
    If anniversary pack threads keep getting made I'll keep trolling them until there isn't anymore!b:bye

    You can't choose to become a mod. If you're active, friendly, helpful, and all on forums, we'll notice you, look into you, and discuss if you're capable of being one.
    Mods are unpaid volunteers btw, it's pretty ungrateful work, but I love it. GM's are paid, it's an actual job, so you have to treat it as one (go to office, work, not play, etc.)

    So far i only see 1 person that (i think personally) fits that description + are pretty much on a neutral basis all the time, from a viewpoint of a forum semi-troll >_>; Seems there are not much huh...

    We are normal players so you may find us ingame though we don't always admit who we are on forums. (Just had to block one so-called friend when he tried using me for easier GM contact) I believe currently I am the only Moderator who doesn't actually play PWI I do play another PWE game though. b:thanks
