Frogling- Skills

I recently got a frogling, and I was wondering what skills on it should I level? Are there any skills I should get?

    Frogling sucks as a pet. If you like it, by all means, keep it. Level up bash to have a chance to hold aggro.

    It does squish easy. Supposedly, it's alright when you level it up to a higher level (like in the 70s or so).

    I use frog. Not for grinding, not for tanking. I put slow and tough on it for luring magic mobs. A carapest terror would work as well (better for non mag) and they already have slow.

    The frog is a good all-around pet. Good damage, good hp, good defense. The problem is very few encounters in the game require a pet which is strong in all these categories at once. In most tough encounters, you'll be looking for good hp and defense (and usually specifically just phys defense or magic defense), and willing to sacrifice damage to get it. In most grinding, you'll be willing to give up hp and/or defense in order to get better damage.

    If you were allowed to have only one pet for the entire game, then the frog would probably be one of the best choices. But that's not how the game works - you can have up to 10 pets. The frog is not going to be the pet you pull out when you're faced with a tough encounter. And even in general grinding you'll probably find a different pet works better.

    I'm actually only using it until I can get a better pet, which might take a while anyways xD I was using a magmite.. but they are just far too large for my likings.

    I don't have very many options for pets at the moment. Only have room for three currently, and I keep my sawfly in one of those spots permanently. I'm also at the point where I've been needing a water pet more than usual, so that is also occupied.

    Frogling doesn't suck, you need just to get good agrro- keeping skill on it like Bash and Flash Ream and lvl up it. I rarery steal agrro from my, even if I spam skills like crazy b:chuckle I'm full mag veno btw. b:cute
