shard glow?

how many shards will i need and at what level to make my weapon glow?
2 sockets? are average good enough?

    ur weapon wont glow unless its a special weapon like TT, legend, etc.
    most armor glows with 2-4 of the same shards

    Weapons get a shard glow only if you put 2 Flawless or higher shards in. For armor, you only need 2 avgs or higher. If you get shards perfect or higher in your armor (4 of the same shard at the same level) you'll get a special glow, but only for certain shards.

    Why not put in 4x g12 gems while we're at it?

    Sure! Do that if you either have 1. the money for it or 2. get lucky with a pack.
