Overriding powders with buffs

Since I can't override a lower buff with my own, why is it possible to override powders which are a lot better than hp/mp recovery buffs ? It's really annoying if someone wants to "help" you by making things worse. I hope this gets fixed one day, I don't harvest herbs to have the benefits nullified in the blink of an eye.
Few people makes mistakes with fire after being once burned, of people who regard water lightly many have been drowned.

your going to regret saying this cuz when you get higher lvl's or something like that and your complaing about buffs they won't buff you any more and if i do beleive so powders last for 10 mins when some cleric buffs last for an hr and it's a free buff

I know cleric buffs lasts longer (30mins), but it's not the duration that counts for me, it's the effect. My mp/hp recovery buff is now at lvl 3 and it has an regeneration rate of 3 per second, whereas the powders I know of either hit 50 or 100. I doubt I can even reach that rate when I max my regeneration skill..

Who said I would complain when the buffs I get are actually better than what's going on at the moment ? I'd rather get no buffs than have people ruining my powders over and over.

thus the reason i don't use them the clerics are always around and are ncie enough to give us buffs the only powder i used was the mp 1 like 3 times cuz i was fighting monster that drained my mp so i couldn't heal myself but the rest of the time i don't use, you start seeing how to last longer with out that stuff

I agree with Floyd.I don't remember when was the last time i used such powder since most of the time i rely on daimond sutra to do its job(yes it takes up the mana but you can always cover up for few small mp pots(hey i even use lvl 40 mana pots so its cheap and practical since BM's can recover their mana even with low lvl pots)).

I see, but i mplaying on my cleric now and the only way to deal with the massive loss of mana is powder + meditating and pots on occassions. But pots alone are getting expensive :( And my other point was that whatever is already buffed cannot be overridden, yet it does happen with powder effects...

If you refer about party buffs (for example golden bell or cleric's hp and mp regen)then those are also possible to be overridden(i know since sometimes it gets really annoying when i cast golden bell for whole squad and if we got someone who has low lvl of bell then he casts it after me and destroys whole party buff i cast and resulting that i have to recast it again at my own expense of mana).

Ah, hmm well I was talking about the individual buffs. I got buffed by a lower level once and I couldn't override it with my own.

I'd like to raise my hand as (apparently) the only squishy wizard in roomb:surrender.

Those apothecary powders, especially the mana recovery ones are essential for magic based classes like me.

I already have almost 6k mp unbuffed, do you know how long it takes to get that back? And I would like to save my potions/ arctic orbs for emergencies and TT runs.

    Just throwing that out thereb:surrender

i wish they would fix this soon. May the highest regen rate win out, not last one wins.

While it's nice that helpful clerics buff me, the hp/mp regen orbs aren't cheap to make, and the 50 per second regen gets canceled by a 5 per second regen...thx so much!

The cleric buff is pretty worthless for a BM. I usually wait for the cleric to buff the party, then I pop my powders.

When I play my cleric, I have a separate macro that does not cast the hp/mp regen, so when I see that they already have the regen going. People do notice and say thank you for not killing it.

You are being buffed by noob Clerics.

I do not "give" buffs to anyone unless they ask and I have not since about level 25-30. (Side note --> Same goes for a Res and yes these can be canceled out too)

Best thing to do, and w/o attitude, is inform them. Otherwise, they are never going to learn.

Just pk the unsanitary worms. Some clerics think they get Saint Peter points by spreading their useless recovery buff. Good clerics know how to mind their own business.
