Zen stuck in "Payment Review"

Usually once I charge my zen it gets put in my wallet almost instantly, 2 days ago i charged some and got it quickly then yesterday i charged some more and it been in "Payment Review" for like 18 hours :S whats going on b:cry

    The same thing happened to me. I paid through pay pal.

    Paypal has recently implemented a review system, this is most likely what is happening. As long as your payment is legitimate, paypal will release payments under review 24 hours after they are made. At that point, the money will be transferred to us and we will be able to credit your account. We apologize for the inconvenience but since this is a paypal instituted review period we cannot expedite the process b:victory

    PayPal has been doing this payment review for about 11-12 weeks now. It is an added security measure in their system that is just manually double checking that the purchase is legitimate. This can literally be caused by anything. This process takes 24 hours and as long as your payment is legitimate, your ZEN should be awarded automatically. Just have to be a little patient and allow the process to complete.

    * PayPal notified me of a delay in shipment today at 7:19 PM. "We've finished reviewing of the transaction below, determined the payment was authorized, and advised the seller to ship."

    * PW International sends me a Verification form at 7:19 PM. Confirm your purchase.
    Please confirm your purchase by completing the verification form found at:

    https://blahblahblah

    Once this form has been filled out correctly, the suspension on your transaction will be lifted and your payment will complete.

    If you have questions regarding your payment or this process, please contact Perfect World Entertainment's Billing Department at 1-888-344-4478 or by sending us an email through the Ticketing System.

    * PW Imternational sends me an email at 9:20 pm telling me that my order is in the Process of being canceled.

    * 2 Hrs and 32 minutes later, at 9:51 PM I get an email from PW International telling me that my transaction is being canceled because I did not fill out the verification form.
    For failing to fill out the verification form, you Paypal transaction #(removed) is in the process of being canceled. The cancelation and refund process may take up to an hour.

    For transactions funded by Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Bank Accounts:
    Funds, while usually redeposited into your account within the first 24 hours, can take up to 5 days depending on the payment solution used.

    * 9:57 PM. Pay Pal notifies me that the transaction has been cancelled:
    You received a full or partial refund of $50.00 USD from Perfect World Entertainment.
    This refund will appear on your credit card statement as credit from PAYPAL *PERFECTWRLD. If you have any questions, please contact Perfect World Entertainment.

    I was not at the computer to see these emails until late this evening. Apparently it will be 5 days until my credit card account will get refunded.

    This all seems a little crazy to me. Could someone please let me know why this occurred? I am concerned that I will miss the September specials because of this mess.

    I also think I ought to be entitled to a little something something for all the pain and anguish this has caused. Some of which is likely to be irreverrsible. How about some Love PWI?

    I purchaed $50 in pre-paid cards at Target but could not get the 300 Zen Bonus.

    Is there anything I can do about that??

    Guess I will have to charge it tomorrow if I ever want it before the 23rd...

    Btw, what kind of card did you use? A gift mastercard or just a normal credit card?

    i have exsactly the same prob, i have tried to purchase zen over 23 times wth paypal i et an email about transaction,doesnt give me the transaction email,i mean I MISSED THENIEN BEAST AND NINE TAILS FOR THIS WTF IS GOING ON!!!b:angryb:angryb:angry

    Well, I read the stickys as to why it says my zen payment is reviewing. It's never happened before, the payment has been taken from my account and paypal have sent me the reciept for this payment. So just wondering why it hasn't been approved on this site yet? :S

    EDIT: Just went in and checked my Paypal account and the payment has been put through and it completed. So I would appreciate some help please. -_-

    either lots of people have bought gold and its backlogged or pwi are just lazy and havent done it yet

    i have bought loads of gold and the longest i have ever had to wait is 10 minutes ,now ive been waiting over an hour they need to get thier ***** into gear pronto and sort this out lmao !

    funny how everything gets blamed on paypal when ive been using paypal with no trouble whatsoever for ever. Not to mention the paypal reciept i have in my e-mail stating that perfect world have been payed.

    also i just checked my paypal account and it says complete not reviewing , so tell me again how its paypals fault i need a good laugh

    not buying anyhtnng from pwe from now on..

    bcoz if one is spending real cash then it is the urgent need or deal tht has to be doen in game and if u goona take 1 day to approve then suck it. u lose customers like me.
    i didnt know tht it wud take a day to get approved otherwise i wudnt have purchase itb:angry.
    i was in urgent need of coins right now and i paid RC but still dnt ahve coins.
    now i lost a very good bargain in game.


    btw, anyone fair enf to tell me if i can withdraw from my payment now?...i want my mony backe

    They shd let us refund the bought zen. its ridiculous how the money went through to them and we didnt get our goods.

    if you bought with paypal you have 45 days to report a problem and i think cancle the purchase and get your money back

    this may hurt your future attempts to buy gold with paypal here though.Not that i will be buying gold after this fiasco

    they dont answer because they think a sticky blaming paypal will do the trick :/

    imo if paypal are reviewing your request of payment they dont send you a reciept saying pwi has recieved the payment

    a review is intended to make sure the payment is genuine therefor it doesnt get paid until they are sure it is and that means no reciept in your email

    Yes it is not paypals problem if the money has already been deducted. The problem is on PWI side. I hope they will at least let us refund the money or give us compensation if the former isnt vaiable. This surely is a breach of contract of some sorts.

    if you think pwi cares one jot about us getting gold very late then think again , they are happy they have our money they dont care past the last payment you made to them
