Genie/Skills?

I've never really used my genie other than for tree of protection and i was wondering what skills and genie i should lvl. Skills Mainly for FB/Bosses/Grinding
Any links to genie guides would be appreciated and any other advice

    Solid shield is good with the right genie build. Tangling Mire is pretty nice with a str build if u stack it with another defense debuff. Extreme poison isn't what it once was, but still useful for extra damage. There is a new low lvl healing skill that works ok in a pinch, but its pretty blah. Leaf Shield for extra crit%. Alpha Male for emergency aoe aggro, long range and no cast time. Holy Path for that burst of speed. For attack, thunderstorm is still ok, but not nearly the powerhouse it once was. Earth Claw is now pretty good as aoe. Bramble Rage is still uber-powerfull. There are more, but these are what i have had success playing around with.
