I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.

First you must reach the current level cap of 105. Achieve rank VIII and make a warsoul weapon. Afterward, find and hunt down Harpy Wraith. You must solo Harpy Wraith. If even one other person does even one point of damage to Harpy Wraith then you must start over. Also, after level 50, you must have at least 50 million coins on you at all times. Once you have finished these simple tasks then the heavens will open as a stairway of light descends. Walk up the steps and once you reach the top a system message will announce that you've become a GM.

Alternatively, you can visit this link.

Edit: Damn you Lloyd.b:angry I knew I took too long typing this.

It's not wrong, just slightly different. To clarify, I am a CM, although that's still within the realm of GMs

It isn't a volunteer job....BUT the forum moderators (like aryannamage and andracil b:dirty) are, although I think they're hand-picked as opposed to ask to help moderate and technically it still isn't a job.

I wanna troll the forums and get paid at the same time too. b:cry

EDIT: yea, the moderators (andra, hawk, etc) are not a part of PWE and do not get paid. They are volunteers and dont receive any special benefits other than banhammering stupid threads/necros. Unless you consider some good experience for a resume to be a benefit.

Most Mods are insanely awesome players that volunteer to help others in the community.

Admins are all employees me thinks...
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Some Mods are PWE employees, but usually become Admins for their assigned games if they will be helping on the forums. Most Mods are insanely awesome players that volunteer to help others in the community.

Admins are all employees me thinks...

Does that mean I'm not an insanely awesome player? Or at least just insane? b:sad

In some online games, voluntry players can be 'employed' remotely which is nice because it allows anyone anywhere to help. However this opens up lots of doors to corruption and inefficient work and communication.

    Ok, gotcha.

I know this would be sort of off-topic but...

Does everyone that work in PWE, know each other's regular in-game character?

Say like you can have one bad day and get that character banned. Will that put your job at risk?b:shocked

Mods are regular players that get no benefits of any kind, other than the ability to help the community and keep the forums in good shape. Us green names have to grind out our levels just like everyone else b:victory

to be a community leader / forum administrator you must be a nurse with proven practise with cooking, making kids don't talk dirt and changing diapers. loving mexican soap operas is a +

to be a support representative you must wear unusual out of fashion clothes and glasses, have spots and ability to fix momma's PC through phone. getting phoned by momma less than 10 times a week is a +

to be an in-game administrator you must know all online RPG games pretty well except PWI. using and developing bots and hacks for other games is a +
