Adding our own music

I was just wondering is it possible to take out some perfect world music and put in our own? Like say i take out um, that song in archosaur and replace it with "insert song name here" and place it in the same location will it be replaced?

    I think someone asked the same question a long time ago and as far as i can remember; you can't, since it'll be considered editing game files, which is a bannable offense

    It's easier to just play music on an external player anyway, plus it won't get you banned b:shockedb:chuckle

    Why not just turn the game music off and start up WinAmp or iTunes or w/e?

    This game has MUSIC???? I turned it off 1 hour after I started playing. WMP ftw.
    I was early taught to work as well as play,

    um true, but whenever i minimize this game (maybe to change song) the game gets messed up. Wherever i click the game minimizes back

    Turn off ingame music
    ???

    yeah I hate that, I set up global hotkeys so I don't have to tab out though

    Personally speaking, I play in windows mode with the window set to about 9/10ths of my screen, so i don't have to alt+tab out.

    I get a tad bit of delay lag when i switch back after changing songs, but nothing to worry about.

    you can replace the music, but you'll eventually get banned


    but i'm with OP, the music score on this game gets old quite quickly, since there's no variety.... it's always the same 4-5 songs playing over and over and over....

    also, i have the same issue where if i alt-tab, half the time the game crashes when i click it back up

    so it'd be nice if PWE could install a built-in music player within the game client itself, that has different channels for different styles of music.... and i'm sure this wouldnt be difficult to do

    I thought there was some sort of PWI media player in-game? I remember trying one when I started, but I play on a laptop that is well less than top of the line and the media player made the game crawl.

    It's the radio channel thing, but last time I tried I still had to minimize the game and open another program for it

    Last time I checked, the in game radio thing just opened a website with some stuff on it. And, it was american only.

    All I know is winamp, but you can enable global hotkeys to use with any game running, i just bind them to some obscure two key combination. Some folks even have a keyboard with the forward backward play pause buttons running along the top, you can bind it to that too
