To the GMs of PWI,

well lets say the name of this post speaks for it self. The cost of gold is too much, if the anniversy packs were gone it will reduse in price drasticly, right now the cost of gold is like hmm i say 1mil! Thats just too much, damn it GM you of all people should know that this is makeing every one rich in secs, if any one agree that they should be removed post here (yes).
what matters in ones life is the strength that's within your heart and mind. for it is these two things that makes one feel human.

    for pitty sakes GM get rid of the packs its makeing the economy very bad. the prices of gold is so high

    It is the players that sell gold that are making the Gold Prices rise.

    And you would need to ask the Dev's not the GM's.

    PS ---> Wait till after the event, prices for charms, dolls , etc...will still be at inflated prices because people will still be wanting to make money. Therefore, Gold prices will not drop much more imo.

    Currently, if someone sold their gold for 140k, it would instantly vanish from the auction house. We can not have cheap gold until people stop buying expensive gold.

    Exactly, but people will not do that because then there is no $$ to be made. Also, people are willing to buy the Gold at these prices. So why should sellers stop? b:surrender

    If people were actually interested in the good of the game and the players, rather than only their own wallets, we would not be in this mess because gold prices would never go up.

    gold prices are high, cash shop reductions (mounts, aeorcraft, charm pigment) have been made to help keep things relatively in perspective, some permenant price drops as well in the case of aerogear and mounts.

    I have to say i don't like gold prices as much as i did 3 months agobut players have the right to decide what their dollar is worth and people in the game are still buying gold at these prices soooo... yeah b:lipcurl there are too many QQ threads on this already

    The issue is that gold is high. I wanted to know why and the consensus is that its due to the packs being sold. I do not agree that gold won't go down in price buyers will refuse to buy for such a high price and buyers will hold out, like myself, until gold goes back to where it should be, imo, to 100k-200k a piece. If all the buyers hold out the sellers will eventually have to lower the prices due to competition. At least that is the hope

    Truer words have not been spoken. Fiesta is in the same way. Everyone there has the same build and the only difference from character to character is how how much is spent on the CS. As a personal rule, I only spend money on games once in a long while to get aesthetic items. If the Devs proposed to drop every CS item except for clothing items, I'd be all for it.

    First off dont blame the GM. He as is not the person who makes the decision to place items into the cash shop. Marketing and Development does that. Stop bitching at the GM's they didnt choose to have an Anniversary Event. Marketing did so they could get money to fuel their next big video game release. And from my personal take shut off your computer, take a break from PWI, get a job (the kind that gives you cash) and when you have accumulated some coinage come back to your house flip your monitor on and buy some gold with that hard earned cash and stop your bitching.

    Well tbh, I haven't partaken in any gold exchanges at all since I started playing. People that are complaining about gold prices being high make me laugh. The problem is because people feel that the gold to coin ratio needs to be raised. In all honesty, I think it's brilliant. See when compared to a game like World of ******** that charges you 15 bucks a month to experience everything, no strings attached you get what you play for. PWI on the other hand is free, yet makes it so damn tempting to purchase things through the cash shop. For instance, mats to make those 2star items for level 50 crafting quests or the level 80 quests. Another example is flying mounts/ground mounts. In a game like Wow all this stuff is FREE and it just takes time to get. In pwi the drop rate is insane. They make it so that there is almost no other way to get what you need then to buy it with real life hard earned money. Thus defeating the purpose of "the free game". Which is where I get ticked off... If the ratio of dollars to gold to coins was a little bit more reasonable I'd be considerate of actually using the cash shop. But as long as 1 gold = 1 dollar, this IS a FREE GAME. End of story, stop complaining.
