My Venomancer (I need honest opinions!)

Alright, I'm really trying to make a cute looking Veno, rather than a sexy one. I know, sounds weird.

I'm trying so hard to sculpt the face. I will say, my chars figure was inspired by someone else's, but I have changed quite a few things.

I've only got a few hours left to modify things. So I need opinions!

I've already spent hours trying to sculpt and get the tan right and hair color right and eye shade right and on and on. I think she might need a bit fuller lips, that's one thing I might change. But I need opinions!

OH! And a side shot!

Wanna make sure that the bust fit the body. Keep in mind, I'm planning to get Plumed Embrace. So yeah. It's my favorite outfit! xD

Eyes are too high I think - it's hard to tell without seeing a side profile too - and perhaps a little too far apart? The head size needs to be a tad bigger, as it's quite small compared to the body. And I'd agree that the lips could do with filling out a little. The general shape is quite nice though. I'd also consider making the face a bit wider, as it's very narrow currently.

Hope this doesn't sound too harsh. I think the current design is perfectly acceptable, but those are the things that I'd personally adjust. Also give her a slight curve to her nose if you want it to look cute

Edit: haha you added a side shot xD Yeah, the eyes are too high. They should be roughly half way up the face.

On top of what's been said: maybe make the middle of her head a little shorter, on the face tab. Rounder face = cuter.

Haha I know what it's like to keep adjusting your char for hours on end, all of my chars are heavily customised and most have taken me over an hour of fiddling in creation before I've been happy with them.

Didn't exactly make the face "rounder" or "wider" just made it not so long. Also made the head SLIGHTLY bigger. Only slightly. Probably like 1-3 clicks of the slider.

The Nose is a lot slimmer and the eyes more together. Since I made the face not so long, I didn't care to adjust the hight at which the eyes are at.

Okay... sorry again for a TRIPLE post... but I have a little something that kinda bugs me.

Why are the bust uneven? Yeah, she's standing sideways... SLIGHTLY... but you can see a drastic bust size difference. Lets compare.

I want them BOTH to be the Right Bust because I think the smaller fits the body type a lot better. It's cuter, too.

See where the eyes are on her face? I think your's need to be lowered so that the centre of her eyes are aligned with the top of the bridge.

I'd still plump out the lips a little o.o they just look so thin! I always make the bottom lip slightly bigger than the top too. At least that's what I did for my cleric... and I guess she qualifies as cute. Also, a few secrets to age! Round face, bigger eyes, and the eyes lower on the face = young I'll post a comparison with a character I helped to design xD They're clerics but the customization is still the same >_>

UPDATES!

Alright, a few things I changed. I brought the eyes down a bit, to try and make them more inline with the top of the bridge of the nose (Hard to judge in character creation mode. You get only one angle.)

I made the lips slightly plumper. And it never looks right to have the bottom lip bigger.

I brought down the back of the jaw a bit to try and help round out the face. I must say it's coming a long a lot better. But I'm pretty sure there is still work to be done. The eyes might need to be dropped a bit more. Oh yeah, made the eyes slightly bigger, too.

Head is still too big/tall and the nose is still too manly, IMO.

The forehead looks too big, and the chin looks unrealistic. The nost is too large and too wide assuming the face gets too small.

Having spoken to you in game now (yey!), I thought I'd post other pics of ideas I was following for my veno's looks:




I like that makeup setting and no-one's going to convince me to change it, sorry. But hopefully you can see that I was aiming for the cute look by the big wide eyes, rounded face and fullish lips.

As for your breast issue, I don't know what to say. I believe it's a perspective issue. Not on how you percieve it, but how the game does. I doubt there's a lot you can do with it.

One last thing, you might like to add a bit of colour to your veno. While light hair and a make-up-less appearance might appear young, it can also be quite aging to a character. A little splash of colour to the eyes or lips could help lift her appearance a lot!

Eyebrows are better, but still set too far out and too thin, IMO. She's in danger of looking like she has a mongoloid forehead tbh.

Personally speaking I would still lower her forhead a decent bit.

Alrighty, UPDATE!

I widened the head a bit. Slimmed the nose slightly, brought the jaw down and made the chin a bit bigger. Changed the texture of the hair rather than the color. Change the lip color. On the Jaw, I changed the "Secial Zoom" which makes the entire jaw bigger or smaller. Just brought that out a little tiny bit. Not too much though. I made the forhead slightly narrower (very slightly) and made it a bit smaller too.

Edit: And I brought the eyebrows a bit closer together and made them a bit fuller.
