Running is healthy, especially in partywipe situations. And switching in and out of FF does not look stupid. Mana burnt shifting is regened by the time you are able to switch back. For caster fighters, getting to the target first allows longer regen time if they are stuck waiting for a tank to catch. Also, it is more readily available than potting and HPing (esp. true if you've eaten up all the genie's energy to HP 2-3 times already).

I stand there and tank the boss myself. I don't need to run. I got caught by a few agros in a TT 2-3 run. I went foxform and tanked them all keeping my hp up with leech alone and killed all of them. I even stopped to tank Wurlord when the cleric and barb died. I was fine until I got hit for 6k I nearly killed him. Had I bothered to use any hp pots, I would have killed him.

Boss in frost, pet can't tank him. I tanked him myself in foxform.

Why the hell do I need to run when I can just tank the monsters myself? In ARCANE!b:bye

No one cares Zoe. I was just stating a fact to verify Solandri's theory. You're the one who felt the need to turn it into an arguement that is neither informative nor constructive.

I can't help the speed you love so much is 100% worthless if you know how to actually play. Making the entire theory pointless.

I have been playing the venomancer class a bit so why are you saying that switching forms is bad when you aren't wasting genie energy or apothecary items that you could use when you need it? I feel it's pointless for a venomancer to use Holy Path or apothecary when they don't need to. Saving the genie skills and apothecary items is actually smart. Don't need to waste these things.

Zoe, What valid claim do you have saying the other venomancers don't know how to play their class?

Holy path is fast and good and all, but you cant constantly use it. It is good for escaping a tight situation, and of course it consumes genie stamina. Foxform is not as fast, but at least its 'free'. It wont get you out of a sticky situation as fast as holy path could, but for travelling a longer distance, foxform is less costly and you wont reach you're intended location any slower than a constant holy path.
So really, holy path's best use is ironically in this case, to escape. But hey, i guess you dont do that since you 'tank bosses'.
