TT80 gold versus TT 80 runs

Yes, I am adding to the drama.
The other thread didn'ts specify the total mount of runs for those items and I really would like to now your endless fun runs it took to get the armour.
I'm settling the standard at 2 materials minium per full and 1/2 runs considering the drops are random.

1. Wishlist Material
2. Whatever else u can get
3. Others like skulls and kunky swords
(4. finishing up by buying the materials in open/closed markets)

I was chatting with a special someone and we did the math.. about 30mil at least for buying all the materials, in the current B-Day market.

1. (I know is crazy), but is it easier and timely to run what ever TT runs and buy the mats (harder drops versus normals)
2. Spend the time in runs, and hope for the best
3. Run TTs until u get everything, (hoping you dont get cheated out b:chuckle)

Again, sorry for the additional drama. I believe this question should be asked and others like myself should know what were getting into.

I had full HH80 gold set....you lose it all when you get new gear b:cry (dang auto-bind).

But I can tell you that there are just as good 3*'s out there.

I'm with Deceptistar on this one. I was planning on doing runs for my group's set of gold TT80, but then we realized that our main tank was 84 when the second gold dropped.

Now we're selling them, and 90 armor is better anyway.

As this question was to TT80 verus TT80 Gold **lending up to TT90 armours.

Cause the mat differences are there. I some that just skip ahead and end up having 3 perfect sets of armours TT70, 80 (gold) and work up lendary sets.
To me that is just makes sense if you have time, or are just crazy rich.

But yes, the difference between the *2* TT80s then leading up the TT90 armours runs. I really would like to know the amount of runs for TT90, again the usual standar of 2 mats per run, (more is better)

2. hybid of run with open/close markets
3. Buy everything

But it the end time is money and levels are lost with each run with little exp gained. Often times I think more Experience is lost in TTs.

So finally is it really worth the risk of gathering mats for TT 80 (going to TT90) vs TT 80 Gold.

Personally this. Because the higher TTs, the mob number decreaced and now its a little more fast than it used to be. Plus it takes a bit longer to get to 90 unless you spam the recent RB Gamma. (if you spam RB you can make profit selling genie exp cubes from your SP and then buy mats)

Personally, I bought some of the gold materials with chips and the rest on the AH. Did runs for some of the lower mats, but I had all my 80 EQ before I even hit 80.

Krolic beat me to it, but can't you use chips to get tt gold mats? With the anniversary packs you get the perfect luck tokens and I think 9 of them can be traded for a pack of 100 chips. Let's say tokens are 20k right now (were yesterday on HL server). That's 180k for 100 chips. I think that the gold mats for tt80 are 33 chips each (could be wrong about this, my memory fails every now and again). So you get 3 gold mats (only 2 are required) for 180k. Now I know with molds you have to pay additional coin for the item. I'm not sure how much it is for gold mats so if anyone knows it would be good to post. Then you know the price for gold mats. The rest of the mats are at least easier to farm or cheaper to buy.

Voila!! TT gold sets.

a TT gold wep is alway good (im an archer, have a TT 80 GOld Crimson Horn: Soulsmasher). But 9 of 10 lvl 80 archers have a crimson horn, caus it's really really worth getting it. I dont know the TT 80 gold weps from cleric, wait let me look....

I dont think that this sre so good weps. Crimson horn is so good caus it has gloom (greatly increase phys atck by losing 5% mana)

The fee for trading the chips to mats are very expensive >>; sometimes even more so than farming
