yea i just LOVE using clerics, my fav class so far:) unfortunately , after some "careful" thought, ive decided to use the forums for the 1st time EVER to try to get some clerics to tell me some combos they use, and to comment my combo. keep in mind, i am only lvl 34 when i am writing this:
1) start with razor feather. If there are multiple enemies nearby, start out with step 2.
2)cyclone
3)use ironheart blessing twice
4)use dimensional seal(lowers both myne and enemy's phys. defense) while clicking on genie skill whirlwind( stun for 3 seconds, 15 seconds slower speed)
5) use plumeshot repeatedly. If the enemy is wood base, switch off with cyclone.
6) if a quick finish is needed, use siren's kiss followed by cyclone

my main combo ever since i was a new baby born cleric has always been
cyclone,plumeshot,cylone,plumeshot,cyclone,plumeshot
until its dead, if my health is low, i use ironheart
then keep doin it over and over0 -
Cyclone/Plume shot FTW until i got Wielded thunder on a decent level then its (depending on situation) Cyclone/WT/Cyclone/Plume/Cyclone <---even metal mobs should be dead and its fast.
About your combos, idk if you will be able to keep it up with. To start maxing razor/SK is expensive (spirit wise) and such not worth it at low lvs. And lowering mobs p.def is just a waste of time....just my thoughtb:dirty0 -
You want to stun/seal, kill fast.
Make sure your Metal Mastery is maxed, as well as your metal nukes (PS is not metal, but very handy at lower levels, max it too).
For stronger mobs, I usually stun & seal (melee or element, depending on mobs) then, my usual grinding combo is as follows: WT->GC->TB->GC->PS->GC and maybe add a PS to finish them off.
I use Siren's Kiss and Razor Wings whenever more than 1 mob is attacking me, preceded with spark. Same goes for Tempest when I'm taken by surprise.
IH I will use after the seal/stun if needed.
(Needless to say all the skills are maxed.)[SIGPIC]http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff122/dart2005/PWI/july05.jpg[/SIGPIC]

At your level, I wouldn't touch anything but cyclone + plume shot. Minimal mana usage, and seals honestly have never given me enough of a boost to damage to make something even one less of a hit worth a kill (except, of course, in PvP... the case is different here. ^^) Two IHs are more than enough for any single mob, and three for any two, I've found, even into my levels.
Though to be fair, most of my day consists of doing dailies, maybe a few TT/BH runs, every now and then I'll AE grind with my barb friend, or hunting for targets. My bloodlust is insatiable, I can't be satisfied with a single mob. Even if I am solo, if there are less than 9 mobs on me I start into 'Staff-Sergeant-Max-Fightmaster-is-going-to-grind-your-****-if-you-don't-hustle-up-this-killin'-speed-boy!' mode on myself, and deteriorating my own sense of self-worth, I'm thus threatened into pulling more. In this case, I tend to believe 3 IH to every Razor is sufficient, but that also depends on what I'm smiting.

for me just start out with cyclone then cyclone as much as possible.
Mobs bore me so i usually mix it up a bit to have fun
How do i do that? You'll never know...b:laugh (Hint: stalk me while grindingb:chuckle.....whenever that happens >.>)Lala: aka Jedi PewPewMastaSauce

IronHeart(lvl10)PlumeShot(lvl10)Great Cyclone(lvl10)WellSpring Surge(lvl8)Purify(lvl3)RegenStream(lvl1)Revive(lvl5)weapon swaps.
That is all the combo I really need even when grinding.
My Buffs are all maxed except Celestial Guadian Seal(lvl9).
I plan to max some more out but this is working for me.For stronger mobs, I usually stun & seal (melee or element, depending on mobs) then, my usual grinding combo is as follows: WT->GC->TB->GC->PS->GC and maybe add a PS to finish them off.Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.0 -
Im guessing thunderball, but that is stupid to use, especially in the middle of fighting a mob.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

All the way to demon, on the times I did solo mob killing, it has always been Cyclone and Plumeshot only. Again, depends if someone is full mag or not. Full magic anything else is slower killing, and more wasted mana. For non-fulls, using a high level Wield Thunder can help out with killing it faster.
Cyclone first means mob slow-down, allowing for 1 extra attack on most ranged mobs, and 2 extra on melee ranged ones. Using a seal is a waste, as it aggros the mob, and doesn't increase the damage enough to be worthwhile. Even maxed, 30% reduc is still less than 20% extra damage, myabe 15% at most. And full magic will kill a mob usually with 5 attacks. So again, utter waste of mana.
With this, I tended to take 1, maybe 2 hits when I grinded on mobs 3-6 lvls ahead of me. I liked the xp boost, and it was pretty easy. An Ironheart every 3 or 4 mobs, since I preferred health charmless grinding, made for the cheapest and most efficient grinding possible. You look for DPS, not spike, and your fastest casting skills are always going to be that when you have a high base magic attack.
For actual grinding, AoE is the only way to go, so only Ironheart, Purify, Tempest, and Razor are really needed for that. Genie skill immune wood damage works wonders as well.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Go here if you want to debate about it. - Lyndura

And yeah, dont use seals on normal mobs, its a mana and time waste for lill more dmg, in that time mob should be already dead.
Seals are for bosses and PvP.b:dirty0 -
y all the h8 on seals? =P
silent seal > Cyclone > Plume shot > Cyclone > Plume shot (never worry about getting hit, cause the mob never moves xD)
yes silent seal reduces ur dmg, but its for only 6 sec or so, and their sealed for 16
and advanced spark eruption when i can for the mp regen/dmg ^^0 -

Fixed. Useless in pve... well... not really... you can catch running mobs with Silent Seal in instances.0 -
I've done 1-80 pretty with pretty much just Cyclone and Plume Shot. Occaisional Wield Thunder, depending on the mob. I am pure mag so I have a high MAtk.I can see what you see not.0

my combo for questing in lower levels has been:
cyclone-plume-ironheart-cyclone-plume-cyclone-plume-...if mob was high in anything (increased attack for example) i put manually ironheart before and then started combo
when i got wield thunder i replaced first 2 attacks with wield thunder first and then cyclone (then continue with IH, cyclone, plume,...)
that worked well always (you will start playing with sparks, seals etc - but i play with those manually - not using combos)0 -
depending the mob type I fight I use one of the following:
melee mobs: cyclone -> plume shot -> ironheart blessing -> plume -> cyclone -> plume -> cyclone -> plume ...
ranged/magic mobs : plume -> cyclone -> ironheart blessing -> plume -> cyclone -> plume -> cyclone -> plume...
Most of the times just one IH is enough. Unless he cancels some of your attack or do more damage than expected.Sliding we go, only fear on our side. To the edge of the wire and we rush with the tide.

if a normal mob is still alive after even 10 sec, i think u have problems =P0 -

Actually I 4 or 5shot most mobs and 6shot high hp mobs or metal ones.
Cyclone-WT-Cyclone-Plume=2sec+3.7sec+2sec+2.5sec=10.2 sec
If you start with Silent seal, you have to purify yourself otherwise the damage of the first two attack will be crappy (means you need an extra shot). Silent seal+purify=4sec
with seal(4shot) = 14.2sec; 40 chi; 1345.5mp
without seal(4shot) = 10.2sec; 0 chi; 908mp+(162mp wellspring if the mob hits me)0
