I've only just remembered "Didn't I leave PWI running on this computer some many hours ago?". But it's not and there are no remnant processes running either. It seems that PWI had completely terminated while I was away. I was vending in west arch with the performance switch on and PWI minimized so it shouldn't have crashed (and there was no bug report window). Either that or I some how aquired some false memories.

    It happened to me once or twice that it just completely switched itself off, no warning, no leftover system processes, no bug report screen.

    Happened to me several times as well. I'm just flying along, with the window minimized so I could do something else. Sometimes I try to open it back up, and it doesn't do anything, but other times it simply disappears when I'm not paying attention. Could this be a problem with the client? Or perhaps the spirits of PWI are mean, nasty, tricky creatures that like playing jokes like that on us.

    Apparently it did. Although all the graphic settings were reverted back to normal, the distance slider and customisations were off.

    I just dumped my extra items on my mule, who has way too many things to sell now. But if my laptop can run PWI indefinitely without crashing or silently terminating, so be it.

    I always get my graphics settings returned to the lowest settings, no matter how I log off. Is this really not the norm on how things work? Or is it just my comp that's doing it?

    Normally all the performance mode settings get set as my settings if PWI has to close. But in this case, only the distance and customization settings were set.
