Well , Happy Anniversary, BUT, I am glad that you decided to celebrate the anniversary, but I am disappointed that you decided to give people a mount. I cant trade it and to be honest if I had wanted a mount I would have bought 1. Why oh Why couldnt you have given an option of the gift a person could get.
A list of items they could pick, like a HP of MP charm or whatever, but giving me a mount I never wanted and wont use is a slap in the face.

    But I suppose you are one of these people who moan if they dont get the xmas present they asked for.....

    Yeah well, I give a person a xmas present they dont want , cant use and cant return and I should expect them to be happy.

    Seriously though, why are so many complaining about it being ugly and wanting something else etc., think about those who didn't get anything at all, like those who started early in October or the few who started a day or two after September.

    I sure didn't get anything and my account is 11 months old, will I get the anniversary mount next month when it's 1 year old? No.
    I'd probably have to wait another year before I can "possibly" get something for FREE.

    Ya know, theres a lot of people who'd love that mount, especially lower levels who cant get one ever...
    Free gifts to the people who are high or inactive by now, yay, nothing for newbies or people who sticked with pw for quite a long time...
    Meh.

    Be happy you got a gift, and dont complain you wanted something other.

    Go to a merchant npc, double click, select Trade List... place item in box on the bottom right side under 'Sell', click the 'Sell' button on the bottom right, when you see the dialogue box that asks "Are you sure you want to sell this?" click 'Confirm' or press Y.

    Problem solved.

    Well I for one am happy they have done something like this. I am happy to have gotten a free mount. Even as kind of ugly as it is!! Lol. So far I have to get mine transferred, so I haven't been able to use it, but I can tell you, ugly or not, I have been working my a** off to get a mount, so something free is nice! When I first started playing and was getting into the Auction House, Gold Trading and Cash Shop stuff, trading for gold was about 100k for 1 gold. So I picked out my mount, the reindeer, and started working to get money for it. Then they dropped prices recently, so that was way better. Last time I got on before yesterday was about a month ago, and prices for trading were 150k for 1 gold. I get on yesterday and my hopes and dreams of having my reindeer are gone.. I'm currently at 800k about and gold trading prices are 400-450k for 1G!!

    That is outrageous! I don't have money to spend on game money, so I was very happy to find out I qualified to get the free mount!

    There's no point in complaining about something free. Whether you want it or not. For me, beggars can't be choosers. If you don't want it, say 'thanks' anyway and get rid of it. So, I say Thank you PWI! Happy Anniversary! Keep it up, I know your jobs aren't as easy as just playing a game!b:victory

    I'm surprised at the number of people under level like....60..who got the mount...

    I mean I know some of you restarted and made new characters but at least you knew what you were doing at that point and should level faster?

    the people that run this game are too money greedy
    this game would be perfect if it was actually designed to improve more fun
    but they are just getting more money from people by the throwing this ''Not planned random prizes'' so people just spend their money on useless things that dont dont even want

    OMG are you REALLY QQing about getting a free mount? You should be glad that you even got anything for free. I would've love that mount but I didn't join early enough. Are you like this IRL, getting mad at someone who was nice enough to give you a gift at all? Whatever happened to it's not the gift that matter is the thoughts that count? Learn to appreciate free things in life, because they rarely exist.

    Wow, this thread is just a bright ray of sunshine on a miserable day. Revives my faith in the human race. Wait, actually it's just ****ing depressing. Hell, be glad that you got something from PW at all (for free I'd like to add).

    Arkilas, shut the hell up and if you're not going to use the (free) mount then just NPC the damn thing and don't come onto the forums bitching about about how much you hate the (free) mount (which was free). Yes, an option to choose your own prize might have been nice but they don't have to give you an option, just like how they didn't have to give you a free mount.

    Edit: Divine, gratitude, common sense, and logic dies as the human race "evolves".
