... outside Timberfield. Can they be tamed? (Lv 23) I have tried several times - delicately lowering her HP to about 10 percent and have failed each time. I'm not certain what her function is - does she activate other mobs in the area?


Also, at the same location - there is a Hare that wanders passed a recluse house from time to time. Very infrequent. The only snow hares I have seen wandered over large areas like this one. Is there a better spot to locate snow hares without the wait?

    You can only tame mobs with the little happy face icon in the mob HP interface that's in the upper left corner.

    [Red means insufficient level, Yellow means tamable, Green is extremely easy to tame.]

    So mobs without the icon are not tamable at all.

    You should check pwdatabase.com/pwi for the spawn points of the snow hares. I believe there are 12.

    The snow hare spawns nearby @ 469 921.

    It spawns every hour, but not necessarily on the hour.

    And the only reason you see it run past the recluse is because someone hasn't been camping the spawn to tame it, so you wanna get there early.


    But really, snow hare eggs only sell for like 30k now (used to be 50), so it's not worth farming them unless you wanna make an all class bunny.

    I'm not sure which is harder - farming a hare outside Timberfield ... or farming a consignment stand in Arch for an egg. :)

    I know the rough times the hare spawns on DW

    When I started playing a year ago I never saw these, ever, even though I spent a lot of time in the area farming Magmites with my girlfriend.

    Nowadays, however, they're left to run pretty much free and you can see them all the time.
