Does PWI plan on releasing these ?b:dirty I have a bit of money saved up and i would really like to get CV bow + Rings b:laugh

    Honestly if/when they do have an anniversary event I hope it will be more than just some anniversarly packs being put in through the game through CS/coin/whatever

    boxes in the cash shop or with jolly jones will be a major sign that this game is dying. not only will they raise gold prices even more, they are allowing you to obtain items that would otherwise actually take time and skill to get. i thought cube was enough because that was already a cashshoppers/lazy man's alternative to actually obtaining the weapon the way it should be. there are several other events that you can obtain a large amount of chips with fast so when those are in I can see a lot more cash shoppers having full 99 sets and cv weapons, creating an even bigger gap.

    its not the game, its the country. How do you think the asian countries added this without the players exploding away? To them, spending money on game is normal so it dont affect them that much. 500$ a month on MMOs in japan at least, is childs play. In the U.S. everyone wants everything for free and the ones who pay get the advantage.

    while some players do want some stuff for "free" some of us just want some balance, if this is added its just expanding the imbalance with cash shop, many games have survived with a non imbalancing cash shop (fashion, easier teleports, larger inventory/bank, more aesthetic things) instead of encouraging people to replace actual skill and farm with just dropping mass money on game

    putting in boxes that provide items that you would otherwise have to farm is a huge sign that pwi is starting to decline and now they are trying to milk as much money as they can before even the cash shoppers stop spending money. it's happened on other servers before. if they are confident with their profits and that the population is stable they will never need to implement these boxes.

    these anniversary packs were part of the game when it was first released. I remember when I started out, I saw them at the forges/mysterious merchants, and wondered what they were. They are pre-planned, and not a recent addition.

    the Chinese version has been out for three years and despite the many many "open chest" events they had, it's still not dying.
