Unable to Patch (Auto or Manual)

I try to auto patch, it comes up as "Updating files... badwords.txt" and it won't download, just restarts over and over.
I've tried both patch servers
I've tried to hit the verify button which comes up as "Updating files... console_cmd.txt" and it also just keeps restarting.

I downloaded the manual patch for 166-175 and it comes up as "Update server connection failed Please try other update server"

I've downloaded and installed the Chinese language packs on my computer, restarted. Same results. I don't have any antivirus turned on. I've disabled firewall and added PW to exception list. Same results.

I started this about 12 hours ago, left the auto restarting patcher on over night. Woke up and nothing. Tried manual patching again and verifying, nothing.

What exactly have you tried by reading over our networking and patching info?

What errors have you gotten?

I have the same problem. I downloaded the new client but its useless b:cry

Make sure to install both Simplified and Traditional Chinese language packs, back in the day I installed one and I did the "enable East Asian Languages checkbox" and it still stalled on console_cmd

However once I installed the other pack listed in this FAQ:

it worked fine. So yeah, let us know if you make any progress
