Level 80 gear

I'm closing in on level 80 and wondering what gear I should get, I'm an arcane armour user with base vit of 60.

If I was to get the TT80gold (like the HP mods frome the set) would it be viable to keep using them well into my 90's or would it be cheaper/easier just to get TT80 green, then upgrade them to TT90 green when/if i make it to level 90?

TT90 green does NOT require TT80 green souledges. Keep that in mind. I was basically keeping my goal of a set of TT80gold from lvl 75-80 but, I breezed through the early 80s so quickly, I just decided to skip it. TT80green has terrible stats and is not required for TT90green, so I skipped that too. Basically, I just stuck with random quest/AH 3*s instead of TT gear for level 80. Rebirth gamma will quickly level you from lvl 80-86. Then 4 level grind with CS/WQ/BH.

However, since the TT90green boots have rather "unuseful" stats. You might want to pick up a pair of either TT80gold boots (expensive) or get a set of OHT level 92 boots.

Also, remember, TT80gold costs fortunes. The chest/pants costs about 5-6m a piece and the sleeves/boots can cost up to 10m a piece.

Oh yea... Im writing this as a veno, shouldnt be all that different from a cleric though. I looked for the most +hp and +phy. def for my gear.

I'm not sure how I missed that it doesn't need TT80 souledges, but thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Yeah, the TT80 gold set will cost me an arm and a leg, I've got some money put aside for whichever way i decide to go.

The base stats seem pretty close between the sets that's why i was wondering if it was viable to use well into the 90's. With refining the 90 set will pull ahead in the HP stakes but not a huge amount.

I hadn't taken levelling speed into consideration, I don't tend to be a super fast leveller and haven't done rebirths to date.

You will be more popular with RB squads once you hit 80. Gold TT80 gear just isn't worth it. Get the green set, if at all. Sell them when you hit lvl 90.

Personally, I'm still wearing some pieces of green TT70 robes, skipping directly to TT90 or past gears, depending on circumstances.b:chuckle

I was about to say...Don't skip your TT 80 Gear it lasts forever, I am fairly sure the amount of exp between 80 and 90 is as much as like 1-70 so..unless you play a bunch and GV every day 8x will take a while. Then I realized you are on pve server, you can just grind up to 90 without a problem, I Guess that is a better idea.
On a pvp server, lvl 80 you should invest some cash into armor if you even wanna think of PVP, I am still considering binding but I am not sure if I will wait to 9x..we will see.

Just get some nice 3* stuff and some molds, It will save you ALOT of money because u can basically resell that gear when u get to 90 for about the same price, unlike gold TT80.
