Genie...Arrrghh

So I am new. I have rolled a Wizard (Blah) A Venomancer (Not my deal, but cute) a Ranger (Looked interesting, but I grew bored) and now Cleric, which actually seems sort of interesting.

So my question is about genies. The guy gave me a Winter Genie (Dicipline) which...I dunno, seems ok I guess, except that Zeal or Afliction seems as though they would be better for me. Heck even Longevity seemed a better choice.

Im really confused as to what the benefit of each Genie is or the elemental types.

Is there a genie guide or something?
