Battle fox + herc/nix?

There might be thread about this but I dont feel like searching. So.. which legendary pet should I choose if I am going to use battle fox build (mainly fox skills, heavy armor etc..)?
Firstly I thought about getting herc so i could use it in instances and soloing bosses. Then I came up that i could get nix for PvP. And battle fox's damage isnt very high so I thought that nix would be better after all.
I really want to have both of legendary pets but I dont have much time to play PWI anymore so it wont work like: first herc, grind money with it, buy nix.

So.. which one I shall choose? (I still have long way to go till i get the money to buy a legendary pet but whatever^^)

Ps. Good genie skills for PvP (other than Thunderstorm) (same battle fox build)?

it really depends on your playstyle. I got the nix first bc i liked to PvP, however, i later regreted the decision as herc is a decent PvP pet as well plus the advantage of making money with him.

I'm not sure how pking is over there in LC (for others, lets not turn this into a PvP vs PvE server thread...) but at 68, you shouldnt expect to do much even with a nix. Unless of course you want to terrorize lower levels *which can be very fun :-P )

I would highly recommend herc as you still have many a level to go and can get your TT gear almost all by yourself. Good luck

Keeping in mind as well, if you are heavy armor, you will not have much magic, thus making it harder for you to solo bosses with your herc as your heals will not be strong enough (dependent on the boss)

Have just as much magic as light armour build and can do any boss a magic build can do solo.

If you keep all gear up to date that is...

If your char is on Lost City server, get the Nix. This is especially true if you don't play a lot. The Nix will make your play time much more fun. It is like having a DD/tank squad member. Plus you get RPKd much less.

The only possible exception to this is if you do mostly instanced and dungeon runs where higher level Venos generally are expected to have a Herc.

True.. I think. If I refine my magic weapon= more magic attack= better Heal pet(?)

Only PvE I do atm is for quests and Bounty Hunter.

Anyway, I think I go for nix. Although you all had a very good point, nix is right for me.

If you'd like to meet or talk ingame about my experiences as a Heavy Hybrid Veno*, I'd be happy to share my thoughts and experiences with you.

EDIT: Normally on in the evenings, Eastern time.

* I use this term to refer to a heavy-armour build which makes use of caster and fox forms ('hybrid'). Also note that I'm not a big fan of the term "battle fox" since "fox" alone would suffice to indicate a fox build... (in your case, Heavy Fox Veno) It's already hard enough to be specific about builds, with so many different types existing.
