    It means the web resource it fetches it from can't connect to the MySQL database, either they edited the resource file (looks like HTML with embedded PHP) and made a boo-boo or the database account/permissions has changed.

    EDIT: It's no fault on our side at all.

    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    <?php
    error_reporting(0);
    ?>

    Is it me or they are showing exactly whats the server IP and what's the username used ... IMO this is not a too too good idea to have any of this information being display, since it can help a lot people to brute force the database password.

    Unless they have restricted MySQL logins to just that server (the server the file resides on), which all professional and semi-professional companies should do. And that's not including firewalls and whatever else in the way first....

    Try turning off all of your networking hardware and your PC for a few minutes.

    Then turn everything back on.

    Did you try a Verify on the game launcher screen?

    So it's never happened more than once?

    I'm thinking it was just a very brief issue server sided....I don't know how many players launch PWI in a given time and would have seen that, but it could have lasted no more than a couple of minutes and only a small portion of players post on these forums and even fewer would actually care and have remembered to post about it.

    My point was mainly that "all professional and semi-professional companies" should have error_reporting set to none on production website, to prevent any kind of information (that could lead to flaw) being display. I could also had point out that all the path of the file are being display too. PHP error can tell a lot about the way the script are working and it's not a too good thing to let everyone know how it exactly works.
