Soloing Dungeons with a Herc

Just out of curiosity, at about what lvl should an arcane build veno with a herc her own lvl be able solo dungeons?

I wasn't brave enough to try fb29 until lvl 44; fb39 until lvl 54 (and even then only for BH Farren). But I'm sure...I think I'm limiting myself. I always quest with a BM so I'm never truly alone. I always have backup.

With a herc, you should be able to solo almost all fbs at or near your own level, with a few exceptions. Myriadtail Wyvern in fb51 has a debuff which will cause your pet to take roughly double damage, so it may be difficult for a level 5x herc to tank it. The last 2 bosses in fb69 are quite impossible for a herc to tank, unless you have enough people to constantly cancel their debuffs/channeling.

Edit: Wyvern's debuff isn't purely physical.

You can Do most of them AT the level they are if you're pure Arcane with your pet heal fully to level. ^^ You should be fine. As a Veno you have the freedom to take chances and make mistakes. Even at the levle I am.. if I see a boss/mob I've never seen before I attack it just to see if I can survive it. You'll never know until you try! Beleive me it's a thrill to try.

I actually did my fb59 w my herc before i even did 51. but my herc at 58 was tanking the fb 59 bosses, I was level 62 when herc was 58. I had to keep healing, but herc did fine, didnt die. I finally did my fb51 when i was at 63 and herc was 60. I believe reason waited was for new heal since wyverntail has a 'curse' debuff which makes you take increased damage.

Pretty much agree w the responses thus far. And it is fun to take chances and see what you can and cant handle. Good luck and have fun
