Ok, so I've hit level 81 and recieved the quest to get the water orb from a boss in the cave. I went in with a small squad of 4 and we killed the boss to get our water orbs. Luckily the 4th person in the squad with us told us not to turn in the quest yet and that we would need the fire orb also. I have read some more on the forums that this quest has been people a lot of problems (since you don't know if you've made a mistake or not till it's too late). Has anyone else been through this? Suggestions?

    Did the first part fine, handed it in. Got second part for fire and water orb, killed both bosses, realised I had only got fire orb when I went to hand it in.

    Cba doing again seeing as though the drop rate is %100

    just DON*T turn the quest in when u HAVE got the first orb. when u got the orb and ahnded in first quest u cant get new orb.
    You can only get 1 of the orbs yourself, but can keep getting the same one if you not turn in.so trade orbs around. make sure whole squad get their orbs done before turning first quest in. I did the mistake lol. Had to pay 100k for a fire orb form another squad and do it 2x again.

    or your just like me and due to choices made A LONG TIME ago at 5x you never get that quest at all......

    These orbs, and specifically which one you can have dropped for you, depends on a choice you made waaaay back at level 50-ish with two dark towers near Etherblade. The tower you flew to determines which orb you will hunt for.

    What you need to do is to find someone who needs the -other- orb. So if you can get the fire orb, find someone who can get the water orb.

    Kill both bosses that drops the orbs. Then, you and your mate trade orbs, so you have a water orb and your mate has a fire orb (opposite ones of those you can get). Then, kill both bosses again to obtain another copy of the orbs. Now you should both have a fire and a water orb - and you can turn in the quest.

    From quest websites, it says either you do the trade thing with another player to get both orbs or turn it in and kill some other boss later.

    I waited to do this til I had to go back in for another 2 quests I think. Don't recall any problem doing it that way.

    I suggest u ask around friends to see if they can pass you a shard, which is what I did when i unknowingly handed in mine too early.

    This quest works fine...but wait a few levels.

    You will get a quest to kill both of those bosses again.

    You can do them both at once.
