So I was grinding with my Veno today and the suddenly a mob dropped an Oracle X for me. Any clues since when that can happen and what the %s for it are?
Im really curious what that Oracle is worth lmao

    Use it, and it will activate a quest in which you have to kill an elite mob somewhere on the world map. It's a good source of extra experience, and it's pretty rare to get one to drop.

    Higher than you think probably. In grand total I think I've had about 3 - 4 or more drop in my time playing PWI.

    Was just wondering cause I never got one before from a mob in... 200 levels in total? xD Until now i thought they only came from Jolly - Damn you- Jones...

    The use of oracles:

    1. Sell for a lot of money
    2. Use them to gain a little bit of xp.

    I got one too a while ago, extremely rare to find as a drop.
    I'd hold on to it for a bit, there's still a flood of Oracles I-III left over from the JJ event, once prices go back to normal on those it'd be worth quite a bit. I'd push a guess at 300k+, but probably barely 120k atm.

    Oracle X are never gonna go 300k+. The whole point of oracles is to level your character fast, first of all Oracle I needs lvl 75, which is past the point where oracles are still very useful. Secondly 3 Oracle I's give more exp than one Oracle X, so the price won't go beyond 3x the Oracle I price

    Really obvious things like this always make me suspect the same thing: account trading.

    Like in RS when a lvl 100 standing in Varrock would ask "How do you get to Varrock???" Only he would ask it 600 times and with more spelling mistakes.

    same. Considering justice quests need a 90 kill and i get one in about every.... 4-6 rounds of JQ lol (its faster than it looks)

    Well, it was only a rough guess, but when I first joined this game, a few weeks in Oracle II's were going as high as 180k apiece.

    I'd have to agree with most of the people here.. its not worth all that much considering how 'rare' it is. The great thing about the lower oracles like I and II is that they can be used at such low lvl to put a character up incredibly fast, not to mention they are VERY easy for a high level to do in bulk for easy exp as well. An Oracle X requires you to kill a White Pheasant.. a lvl 78 elite mob that if you do at lvl 75.. will more than likey cost you Charm Ticks/HP Pots and MP pots.. for 33k exp. At lvl 75, you can do 3 Oracle I's cheaper and faster.. for 49k exp. I would guess it's far harder sell any Oracles over IV or V.. any I find i activate on the spot and next time I'm near there on WQ.. ill do it.
