Best Pet And Pet Skills? Plz HELP!

My Main Character is a Veno but my Avatar seems to be Glitched so i put my Archer.

I have 2 Questions~Im a Lvl 70 Veno

1)I want to know what is the best Tank,Best magic defenceive pet and Speed Pet (no hercules included), I want to be more helpful in groups and hopefully not count on a squad to help me for a boss. and what skills r best for that tank,magic def pet and speed pet?

2)i have noticed some skills on the Pet Skill tree that i do not understand how to get, i noticed some of the skill u can get through the Zoologist but the other skills have cought me in a baffle. So how do u get those skills? or what do i have to do to get it?

Plz this has been on my mind but none of my friends nowb:surrenderb:cry

    1.) shaodu cub or magmite for tanks. Both do a good enough job for everyday grinding/questing. If you dont want a squad for boss killings, then get a hercules, only choice for those harder bosses.

    2.) Rare skills come from the Dragon Temple weekly instance.

    As Lloyd said, magmites are good physical defensive pets, the shaodu cub is a good overall tank, with good physical defense (does not match up to magmite) and magical defense. Or a treefrog would work as a magical tank, im not sure about its exact stats, but is higher than the shaodu cub in mag. defense i believe.
    The fastest pet on land would be a Kowlin (Aquabarrier Dharma) with it's 10.1 spd at lvl60. Another would be the Ninetailed Firefox (tamable at lvl85 tho =\). which has 9.6 or 7 at lvl85.
    The fastest air pet would be (phoenix, but since you said no herc, i assume you meant the non-cash shop pets) Foxwing, at lvl90 it has a spd of 9.9.

    for other pet skills, the answer is in Lloyd's response.
