Can't See Cat Shop

When I set up the consignment shop, including name and click on Done no shop appears.

I asked someone else and they couldn't see either. Appreciate it if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong.

One other question, does the shop remain functioning whern you close the game?

nope. it does not

No the catshop you MUST keep your game running.
You can, if desired, you can minimize it or X it out to where it lands inside your task bar.
However, you can't set up a cat shop and then close the game, if you do this, you log out of your player and thus, no cat shop is up.
