    Actually, that's precisely the reason I won't go to rock concerts, if I'm paying for tickets to a KISS concert, who do you think I want to listen to, KISS, or the idiots next to me who can't shut their stinking cake holes? b:angry

    I found that if you go to classical music concerts, people tend to be less roudy than at heavy metal concerts...

    I don't care, I'm paying to hear KISS perform, not their fans. That's why the only concerts I'll go to are for classical music, at least there the audience have enough respect for the musicians and their fellow fans to save the cheering for after the songs end.

    Its like saying if your in a supermarket and some pple are 'parking' diagonal with their carts while looking at their can of beans, and leaving space enough so that only a 5 year old kid can squeeze through. We can always move back and pass through the other lane, but it doesnt mean that we SHOULD. It is an unsaid courtesy to park your cart so that pple can pass through. You cant blame the passer to make an irritated face.

    Don't care if they want to dance, just if they can't keep their cake holes shut when I'm trying to listen to the music. It's hardly an unreasonable desire wanting to be able to hear the people you're paying to hear, if you went to a movie theater you'd expect people to keep quiet during the film, if they didn't you'd report them to the management and see to it they were kicked out. Like I said, there's a reason I'll only see bands like Celtic Woman in concert.

    The fact is that their on top of the NPC in hopes that you will mistakenly click on them.

    People do that because they can't leave you junk mail to advertise their catshops. They need some form of getting the most attention possible.

    they advertise on WC people scream spam, they place their shops in places people scream ettiquete.

    Legitimate problem currently.

    Flying pets getting stuck on every blade of grass when questing on ground. The slightest upgrade can cause the bugga to get stuck.

    Also another one that maybe its just me but when I am on a decline of anykind my character resets in the decline all the time. So going down hill she tends to be like a broken record warping back like 5 feet and looping like this.

    It amazes me why there are even any players defending the Idiot Catshop that is blocking the NPC.

    Sure you can press Shift, and almost all 30+ players probably know how to do it because it becomes a necessity with CS.

    But when an NPC isn't crowded, or if it is an NPC that a NewB uses then it does become a problem. Many new players have no idea that they can press shift. Others don't know where the NPCs are and if they can't see the NPC, it makes the game unnecessarily harder for them.

    I don't advocate changing the game mechanics as that will just lead to a new round of complaints.

    But at least support the notion that Catshops parked right in front of an NPC is annoying. b:angry

    Most keyboards have 2 shift keys, one on each side... I guess it could still be a problem if a person has the fingers in both hands broken.... But if that is the case, wouldn't press any key be a problem?

    Newb, not noob, there's a difference between us. A newb is someone who's simply new to something, like me. A noob on the other hand is an idiot, time spent playing the game has nothing to do with it, heck a noob could be the very first person to ever play the game. They may know everything there is to know about the game, the site, or whatever, the problem is in how they act. Leroy Jenkins would be the most famous example of a noob in terms of MMO's.

    The highlighted part would not be a problem... the first part is not an issue either, since you can always find food :) by holding the shift key

    It *is* called "common courtesy". It's not difficult. It doesn't cost you anything do be considerate of others. It doesn't cost anyone any coin to move away from the NPC.

    Watch your language, please. I've seen multiple posts in this thread that need to be toned down.

    I'm closing this thread due to flaming. For now, the simplest solution to this problem is to hold down shift and get on with your business. If you have better solutions, the ticketing system has a suggestion tab with which you can submit ideas to the people that matter.
