guards not killing red names

one time i was in pk mode i killed a few people and when i got to a city or town, guards kept killing me over and over but im seeing some high levels resist there attacks like crazy and even attacking the guards. can some one please tell me whats going on?
what matters in ones life is the strength that's within your heart and mind. for it is these two things that makes one feel human.

    yeah you can attack NPC if you hold Ctrl, and remember at your lvl your res. isnt as good as say a lvl 90

    They could be using the 6sec immunity pills, but then they would immediately die after it wore off... they of course could trip-spark and extend this to 9 seconds, but meh.

    I was going to say something else that glitches the guard to attack you, but you can't be killed, but it doesn't work on a PvP server afaik.

    Essentially, blue named Cleric walks by, sees some poor helpless redname about to be attacked by a guard, Cleric heals them, and subsequently steals aggro from the Guard. Guard will attack the Cleric, but will always be resisting him.

    It doesn't matter what level you are, level 1, or level 105. A Guard is going to oneshot you. ;p

    I have seen they do it before. Only work on PvE server. The trick is to stay in PK mode for 10hours, then go and aggro the guard. Just before the guard get the first hit immediately switch to non-PK mode. Then the guard will keep attacking you perpetually as long as you stand there, and the "no effect" will display for every hit the guard do.
