Damage Reduction

Something has been happening and its bugging the **** outta me. When I am grinding on mobs, there will be occasional instances when my damage goes from 4000 to 1000. If anyone has any idea what the hell is going on, would appreciate the info.

    What does it say on the mob decrease in magic or something like that?Your spirits gift didn't run out did it.

    Check if the mobs u grind aren't able to buff themselves against magic/physical attacks (many does it to increase attack power, maybe other can do the same for defense's), check the endurance of your weap that doesnt have to go to 0... Or may that of magical rings :/

    Apart those i can't imagine other issues. On whose mobs do you notice that phenomeon?

    Hmm I noticed this when I was fighting Ravaging YanYans when I was 6x, some places in the swamps when you are on the "water" level (Even though you are walking and not swimming) and attack a mob that is on the earth above the pool of water, there is a damage reduction. This is similar to attacking a mob on the ground from the air, You have to be at the same "level" state as the mob to have 100% dmg.

    Yeah, this happened to me while standing at the very edge of some water. I finally figured it out. Took me a while though, it was really confusing.

    Maybe your weapon is broken?

    I was working on my alt cleric (lvl 25) yesterday, and it seemed like sometimes, the damage either was very little, or completely non-existant.

    Kinda odd.

    I think on my Veno, a couple of hits (magic) seemed to miss or be very low, as well.

    this hapens in the swamp 6x area....i just lvled to 70 when teh bug came out thob:chuckle
