Going back to December...Im wondering why the hell did I click Sanctuary when I needed to choose my server.

Who wouldve known it would be the uttermost BORING TW map in PWI history thus far? lol

Some of us are trying our hardest to make a change. Unfortunately, no matter the levels, the money issue is just too much to overcome. Not to mention, he who beholds the power of 1k streams has the power of iron guards, which is, lets just say....unfair.

Oh well, Dev's arent perfect. I just hope that maybe, since its been what, almost 4 months....that just maybe...Sanctuary will receive a present from the GMs. Map wipe.

Would be nice to see people flee and see color. And lots of it too, I might add.

U guys need at least a faction or 2 with TW "honor" where they r just looking for a fun fight that is me idc about money give me a faction that has fun TWs and last awhile and it will be a good weekend.


I say again merge u little factions take ur best and their best and do that till u make 3-6 strong factions then its GANKVILLE!!! i mean on HT Enlighten isnt the strongest guild thats for sure but they alwasy pop on the map every once in awhile b:cute

The last faction that bid just to enjoy, outbid a potential top 2 faction TW and got called fake bidding :P that is sanctuary for you atm. Apparently pple expected them to back down for the top 2 fighting.

Zerg factions fail. Take a look at what happened to steel. They had the gear, they had the levels, they had the numbers, yet they fell apart. Managed to gain a territory, put up one helluva fight, could've worked their way from there but internal dispute killed them, which is how most zerg factions end up. Not to mention a lot of them didn't even bother to show up for tws.

Give the smaller factions some time, the level gap will get smaller soon enough. It's a difference when you have 50 people in tt70/80 gear getting steamrolled by 50 people in tt90 and 50vs50 in (relatively) the same gear. Granted, they'll still lack the experience but that comes in time too.
And for the long term, factions with loyal members who know, care and work with each other work out much better than a zerg group of mercs. And our top two facs are turning/have turned into exactly that, but things are working out as long as there's money involved I guess.

I'd love to see some regi, validus and recluse on the map. But they have to "earn" it, or rather, be able to defend it would be a more fitting term here. Ganking works, we've seen it happen. Both nef and leg can loose land when ganked. Problem is hanging on to that land, and until there is a faction capable of that, things won't change.
Map reset would accomplish nothing though. Sure, you could grab some land at first but then what? Nef, leg and regi would week-by-week gain land from smaller factions until it was them left, then nef (and/or leg) would wipe regi out, until it was down to those two again. I say and/or because I don't know whether leg would attack you guys in that hypothetical scenario or you'd both futilely attack nef while they pecked away at your turfs one at a time. And we'd be right back to square one.
And yes, I know defending is easier, but atm, noone can defend against nef which makes it a moot point, leg being the #1 candidate when they actually bother to get their **** together.

yeah what they must do is be smart about bids if 3 bids have bid on one of the higher powers no one else should because it will mess with the timings.




Have the 2 strongest factions attack the one faction thats assuming the 2 land owning factions attack each other.

U do that enough times and more and more factions will get on the map ALSO when a faction gets on the map everyone cant be bidding on them to try to steal it because it will result in the same thing 2 factions owning the map

probably not. I dont see why they have to back out. Bidding on other lands also go both ways not only for the smaller fac but the bigger fac as well. The bigger fac doesnt have any priority in anything. They may expect it, but in reality they dont have it.

Notice how all the maps except for HT is mostly dominated by red... Is it to be that Assault will rise in power, or will they be knocked down and some other guild comes in and picks up the color? Personally I don't think Assault would make it as a TW guild.

EDIT: Really curious as to why Conqueror of Lost City could manage to keep that much land without interference. Surely there have to be some weeks where a bunch of non-landowning guilds rush in to try and grab a piece of land.

I have to agree. I was trying to keep a log of all the servers at one point. But I gave up and just logged the servers every couple weeks. Each time it was so drastically different.

go all the way to the beginning and add RavenHawk, Genesis, and Elysium... Oh, and beware the mighty wrath of Swingers, on the map for an entire week when TheEmpire died. Honorable, Avengers, and many others who have held 1 land, sometimes 2.

Well they are mostly just a really big powerhouse. They out level a lot of people and outnumber the others. They tend to be more organized than most of their "competition" and in general have a lot of experience. Oh and as for the non-landowning guilds they can only defend 3 lands a day. So, it's easy enough for them to defend. Not to mention they fall into most new players "good" category vs say RageQuit which falls into the opposite.

Conqueror has 31 lands that can currently be attacked at once(If RQ attacks Archosaur), along with the attack that I assume they'd make weekly, that's 32 battles, which can fall into 7 or 8 tw timeslots (I forget if there's 2 on friday or not). 31 guilds bid on them and they attack one, 32 battles/8 timeslots that's 4 per timeslot (yes that happens as was shown by a mass attack on Radiance a while back on the HT server) 32/7 that's 4 timeslots with 5 battles and 3 with 4... 200 people possible/4-5 battles... I don't see that going over without a sacrifice or two on some of the days unless LC has that many fewer players than HT and can't even front enough for a few dozen decent 90+ players in a multitude of guilds.... Don't like the color domination? Serverwide attack. However don't serverwide gank the guild for too long if you're not wanting to break the dominant guild up. You want more colors, make more colors.

ur history speech was an obvious fail because its just full of QQing. u QQ rad fall and we take free lands.. ya right. when we had full 1v1 with rad, u all went down in like 30mins.

What are you waiting for a 1v1 vs Tao or Enrage ?

There is no glory on beating the 5th strongest guild on the server if you claim to be the 1st. It should have took Ceasar less than 20min to be honest.

Keep in mind that Radiance did change over time, there is more ex-Radiance member in other guilds then in Radiance itself. I don't remember any another guild surviving a big downfall with a massive exode of the high members without being wiped out of the map in a few weeks.
